exrxixxx NET PHYSICS '14 (UPDATE)

New trick is applied to the net physics. Try and share your comments. Thanks.

Here we convert "exrxixxx net physics" froom 2K13 to 2K14

Effect - net is not jumping over the rim so high and often and is much closer to real life physics than default net has.

***
File needed to edit - gamedata.iff (must be decompressed - just open once the file with NBA 2K Mo Tool to decompress).

Change just few values in your gamedata.iff file with hex editor

Offset
12ace8 - change next values to - FF 00 FF 44
131de8 - change next values to - FF 00 FF 44

My gamedata.iff went double the size of the default one after i opened it with 2K Mod tool and applied the Hex Values. I'm thinking it's because of the decompression? Do i have to compress it? But how? :oops: But it's no biggie. The game is working fine with it. (Y)

Yes, this is because of decompression and no need to compress it back. GLGL

im confuse, do i have to type both the numbers and letters at the last 4 offset or wherever it leave me at in HXD?

Hey budda, nice to hear you again.
Here is link to download modded gamedata.iff file. Two versions inside - one with 2K net texture, other with fat net made few years ago by some dude I can't remember now his name.

if i give u a gamedata.iff file from 2k12 can u convert that to nba2k14 it will save us both time so u dont have to explain it

You don't need any files from earlier games. You have to mod 2K14 file, not 13 or 12.

yeah i understand but i liked a net mod from nba2k12 theirs no way i can imported into 2k14 without it crashing

the net from ur mod looks really real but its too stiff for me u should make another mod for a more looser net the default net is garbage

You may play arround those FF 00 FF 44 by changing values to meet your taste.

Same net texture is included to downlink link few post above and named "...fat net"

If you don't like my physics, wait till michaelvlutz49 will update his own.
