Ultimate Base Roster fixing thread!

having in mind that hawk23 is indefinitely away from UBR mod, i decided to open this thread for various fixes of UBR that were present at the time hawk23 decided to withdraw from maintaining this amazing mod. in recent months i tried to contact him through his UBR email address, but i never got a reply from him. maybe he doesn't even use that email anymore, but i don't have his personal/private email so i could get in touch with him. of course, i will respect his decision and request for UBR mod removal from this forum, so no worries about that, meaning i won't share UBR mod but only fixed rosters for private use.

at least, is suirad is still around these boards, i would like him to contact me via PM or email.

ok, back to why am i opening this thread. well, with generous help from artvandelay04, who fixed all wrong assignements of floors in 1999 roster, i was able to fix wrong cyberface of nuggets' eric williams in same 1999 roster, who was having pacers' travis best cyberface. my next goal is to try to fix any wrong jersey number or any double accessories weared by any player.

but one thing i would need help is fixing clevelend cavaliers "gund arena" stadium issue with crowd, which occures in 2000, 2002 and 2003 rosters. on the other hand it is ok in 1999 and 2001 roster. the help i'm asking is detecting "gund arena" .iff file in 1999 and 2001 rosters, so i could put the same .iff for 2000, 2002 and 2003 "gund arena" roster. i need help with this because i'm having issues with latest available verson of red mc, where i get various script errors shown upon running this tool. so, i would be very grateful if someone could help with above mentioned "gund arena" issues.

I’m out of town for the holidays so I won’t be able to help for now.

For the Red MC script issues, just click No on the pop up error windows. Just keep clicking No until the windows disappear and you’ll be able to use the tool as normal.

Hello. I'm a longtime lurker and seldomly post but your topic intrigues me. I have used the UBR for a very long time and have mods from many on this community as well. You being one of them lol. Over the years I have made many improvements to the UBR in relation to graphic files such as courts, teams, crowds, jerseys, stadiums, logos etc from many modders here. Too many to mention. I figured sharing them would be the right thing to do seeing as to the newer 2k games leave many of us wanting if I'm being honest. Hit me up if you're interested

i'm glad this thread woke up some interest.

yeah, please be kind to post here everything you have improved over the years. speaking of it, i'm aware that some graphics related stuff are way off in UBR, i noticed some wrong mini logos, some issues with jerseys, issues with stadiums and crowd. so everything that is improved over last UBR release is more than welcomed!

thanks to @atrvandelay04, 1999 roster has fixed courts and wrong cf assignement for eric williams (nuggets). i fixed some accessories issues for rick fox and cedric ceballos in several rosters too. and i will release them soon.

help needed in fixing following things:

- clevelend cavaliers "gund arena" stadium issue with crowd on broadcast stadium camera, which occures in 2000, 2002 and 2003 rosters. on the other hand it is ok in 1999 and 2001 roster, so it means stadium file from 1999 or 2001 roster should be used for 2000, 2002 and 2003 rosters;

- minnesota timbewolves "target center" stadium issue with crowd on broadcast stadium camera, which occures in 2004 roster. stadium file from pre 2004 roster should be used to address this issue too;

- new cleveland cavaliers uniforms for 2000, 2001 and 2003 rosters. current versions have some wierd rectangle patch applied;

- body type fixes for mark aguirre (1990-1993 rosters), terry mills (1991-1997 rosters), oliver miller (1995 roster), anthony mason (1997-2001 rosters) and danny fortson (1998-2007) rosters
