I think it has something to do with the "roster.iff" file update from the Official 2K14 Online Data update. Try downloading the official 2k14 online data update here on NLSC then copy the roster.iff file from that into your 2k14 main directory.

Hm, okay. I did that, and it definitely cooled the boosts a bit, but is there no way to destroy all of them? Thanks!

You can delete them all directly on RedMC except for the first row.
