Is there a way to add a shot meter to 2k14?

I've enjoyed playing my modded 2k14 a lot lately but I feel like I'm missing shots too often, even with good timing, is there anyway to make a shot meter for excellent shots to always go in, or no meter but excellents still go in everytime?

Not as far as I'm aware, as it would involve mechanics that aren't programmed into the game. We can generally manipulate what's already there, but adding new modes or mechanics is beyond the scope of modding.

Hello, i've got an idea, i'm no modder, but what if we add the shot meter as an accesory, or UI/GUI instead? Like we still keep the blue light shot timing thing, but just add an UI where whenever we shoot, it activates, and since the three release states, quick, normal and late all has the same shot timing, then we just make it so, that the UI shot meter will fill up according to the shot timing and shot release form as well, idk if it's possible, but it definitely sounds doable

LeBunny, I have been trying to lay groundwork on this by locating what variables change when a shot is attempted, but I have been struggling to find the right values (using Cheat Engine). But I will let you know if I make progress.
