Hey bigh0rt, is there any way to edit some teams audio files so it will say the team's names? Like change "Los Angeles Lakers" to "Syracuse Orange"? Im willing 2 find and supply audio files if needed?

Not until someone cracks the code to overwrite teams.bin. I tried.

For those interested in what teams will be forthcoming, and want to make courts, arenas, cyberfaces, etc... Here's the next few teams I'm looking to add (I was able to get Creighton and Texas in today)...

In no particular order...
- Gonzaga (Need: Court, Arena, CFs)
- Cincinnati (Need: Court, Arena, Uniforms, CFs)
- Southern Methodist (Need: Arena, Uniforms, CFs)
- Pittsburth (Need: Arena, CFs)
- Saint Louis (Need: Court, Arena, Uniforms, CFs)

If any of the above files have been made, and I missed them, please point me in the right direction.

Whenever RayHoops1 and I replace those sounds there is a really high beep and then silence. Same thing with eventmusic.bin which is for chants and arena music.

Would it be possible to make everyone in the free agents list a 25 ovr? Because it would stop CPU teams in association from picking up free agents (they wouldn't want them). The Syracuse Orange can't really pick up Victor Faverini. I turned off trades as well, but I think a 25 ovr free agent pool would be a great addition for v1.1. Great mod by the way guys.

do u think that expanding the logo sizes to 1024x1024 will help with the scoreboard? then we can have a bigger but less notacible pixil maybe

They've integrated it with the Association mode, so I suppose that it's compatible with My Career too (But you need to install the full version though).

sadly, not yet. ive tried and it just freezes at the draft screen.

More likely I would simply make all FAs unavailable and invisible. I just need to figure out how to do so in RED MC.

Its is very easy. Just change the values in the roster editor

I don't know how I could make it work with MyCareer. It's not that I don't want it to work. I just have no idea why it doesn't, or what I could possibly do so that it would work...

Some potential issues in adding more teams... how to assign them...

I can't assign them as regular NBA teams, or I think Association Mode would go bye bye, having more than 30 'Regular NBA' teams.
I can't assign them as FIBA Teams, or else they automatically use FIBA ball and referees (maybe more consequences, as well, I'm not sure)
I can't assign them as Retro Teams, or else they display as '00 - '01 Texas, for example
At JaoSming's recommendation, I have assigned Texas and Creighton as CAT teams. They work in-game, they display properly. However, I ran into an issue when I tried to slot them alphabetically amongst the original 30 teams. The teams players were assigned to got screwed up. So for the time being, at least, Texas and Creighton appear after the original 30 teams contained in the mod. I'm working on a way to get them to slot alphabetically without repercussion, and this should stay Association Mode playable, since you can put CATs into the Mode...
