Great roster! but i wish that you did not change signature shots for the players that already have them like rose,curry, Thompson etc.

You do understand that these are changed because their own shooting forms don't accurately reflect their real life shooting forms? We've been using the spreadsheet posted on OS to update the signature shots, which according to many are pretty accurate.

Signature shots are a polarizing update as some people do like the defaults as they're accustomed to them, however they may not always accurately reflect the real players' stroke as seen in real games. We tried to strive for accuracy with the signature shot updates so we picked a spreadsheet that has them accurately depicted and followed suit. any changes you don't like though you are more than welcome to change in your own personal roster of course!

- [CHA] Anthony Tolliver should be #43 (not 35)
- [OKC] Daniel Orton: waived.
- [MIA] Norris Cole: Heat exercised 14-15 team option (just have to change "Team" to "None")
- [MEM] Josh Akognon: waived.
- [FA] Sam Young: ...just leave him in the FA pool. He's since been signed and waived again. :lol:
- [FA] Fab Melo: signed 1-yr with [DAL], switched number to #14.
- [FA] Chris Douglas-Roberts: Signed by [NYK] at $583K, switched to #14 (also).
- [FA] Darius Johnson-Odom: Signed by [LAL] at $474K, switched to #6.
- [HOU] Dwight Howard: Right wrist rubberband should be black (the sleeves colors might change; I only have the pictures with him wearing them in the away jerseys, and they match the jersey in the HOU@IND piece.)

That's all I got in a quick browse through.

Great work Cam, getting off to a great start with this roster! (Y)

As far as adding players, please don't forget Dwight Buycks PG w the Raptors #13. Kid looked great in summer league, has a good shot to make Raps opening roster.

I don't even give a crap about shoes or right accessories.. it's all about gameplay! Want a roster with accurate tendencies, plays, and coach profiles.. that's far more important than whether or not lebron is wearing the right shoes.

ANywyas, can't wait til this is all updated so I can start an assoc mode. :bowdown2:

How far are you with your new version?
If u need help with editing ratings, accessories or shoes just let me know. I'm used to editing stuff more than actually play the game :D

I'm pretty sure Cam could use some help with the accessories. Not sure what to do with ratings though, since we don't really have any point of reference right now. I would also love to get started on editing player tendencies, but we need some kind of spreadsheet for that. I've already done some searching and the best I could find was people suggesting to use the 2K13 tendencies, which is completely pointless since we have new ratings this year (no more 'inside shot success' for example).

I would edit some small ratings, till the season starts. For example, there are a few players who have 70 block, but don't nearly average 1 block per game.
And the veterans like pierce, garnett etc. still have a sky high potential rating.
Is it possible, that standing layup stands for inside shot success this year?

Good point! I'm not an expert at all when it comes to ratings. I'm just here for the tedious work (signature shots, tendencies and the like) :lol:.

They've added quite a few ratings to replace the inside shot success. Standing layup is one of them, which goes together with the spin layup, euro step layup etc.

Haha I hear ya man, I'm an equipment junkie so I like to have the best of both worlds with my gaming experience :P but I agree the gameplay is definitely important, I'm holding off on assoc mode myself for the official release when everything's corret (Y)

So far I'm in a halt with the new version, I really want to get hex edited colors out to the public so at least the default gear doesn't look too crappy (optimistically of course with how fast I like to work, I'd like to get real equip edits done as well) missing plays created/added in (need a reference for ratings though) as well as tendencies and maybe some slight rating edits. I'll definitely let you know when I can use your help!

That's one of my next steps in the roster project, the default colors annoy me greatly, glad you're tuned in for the next update!

For the rating scale formula I know there are some edits that need to be made, I'm hoping to get those done with someone knowledgeable and experienced of said formula. As far as potential goes to my knowledge and experience with editing with the tools we have thusfar there's an age each player has where they begin to regress so potential is nullified i believe; and I think standing layup is the single stat that was meant directly represent inside shot (under the basket scoring)

Thanks for all the support and feedback guys, I'm anxious to get v1 out to the public. I have went as far as contacting Medevenx in hopes that we can collaborate on this project so he can put his master touches on the roster :D ; hoping he will agree to do so! Anyways, Cam gave you all the credit in the world for your HD portraits, so what's the problem? (I'm not trying to get mixed up into things, but this is just stupid)

Did you grant Cam permission to use your portraits? Were the portraits even released as part of this roster? I'm at work so I can't download the files to double check. If this is just the case of your portraits being used in screenshots for the roster, then we're done here. If you granted permission for him to use the portraits and he did, then as long as he credited you we're done here. If he didn't credit you, he should make sure he does so, and then we're done here. If permission was never granted, then Cam, you should remove them from the download (although it's not common for portraits to be released with rosters, so I'm not even 100% sure what's happening here).

hey just wanted to tell ya that bradley beal's jump shot is complete wrong and way to flat footed. he does shoot a jump shot and jumps more then 1 inch off the ground.

I've been using this roster and to be fair, I don't think the HD portraits are even showing up. I haven't noticed a difference, but that may just be because I haven't paid it that much attention. Cam has credited Mr. Star several times, but I can see this being a slight issue if Cam never got permission from Mr. Star to use his portraits.

Again, I'm not trying to get mixed up into things. But the way Mr. Star approached this, not cool. :evil:

Thank you for pointing that it. It's because I (well, technically the trainer/tool) made an error. For some reason it switched back to Set Shot 19, while it should be Jump Shot 19.
