Ive done this a million times in 2k13 no issues but i cant get it to work in 2k14.

That's because the address (any of them) change per career for almost everyone. You really need to find the draft position yourself in order to be sure.

Just download the tool/trainer in the following thread; viewtopic.php?f=153&t=92987

It's in Chinese, but translations have been posted and it's pretty easy to change your position. Just make sure you run the program BEFORE you start the game.

That's because all the memory addresses are different for everyone else. Some are lucky and they stay the same even for different MyPlayer careers. For me it even changes for every other MyCareer I start. It's not as easy as it was last year...

How do I find my memory address?

asemvs wrote:How do I find my memory address?

Alright, I will give you an example I can't guarantee you'll be able to find it. Let's go with Skill Points in this example, since that one is very easy to find
- Start the game and load up your MyCareer
- Take a note of how many SP you have
- Search for the amount of SP you have in Cheat Engine (4 bytes and exact value)
- Go back into the game, spend some SP
- Go back to Cheat Engine and do a NEXT search for your new amount of SP

Now keep in mind that this is the easy one, the rest is A LOT harder. Is it 1 byte, 2 bytes, or 4 bytes? Exact value, floating value? So use this thread to find out what exactly you need to search for since there are quite a few posts that tell you if it's 1 byte, or 4 bytes, exact value, or floating etc. Trades for example you'll need to search for a value of 1 (enabled) and then in settings disable them so you can then do a next search for a value of 0 (disabled).

To be honest, I really don't think this is going to work since this years NBA just scrambled up all the memory addresses and it's nearly impossible to find anything if you don't have much experience with it.

How to get drafted on a selected team?

Q: How to search for an answer yourself?
A: Use the search function!

thescruple wrote:Here's what I did:
At creation, search for a 1 byte value of 29. After the game is played, if you did anything, your draft stock increases. Look up what draft picks the teams that are interviewing have. Search for a range of values that includes all 3 teams' picks, i.e. 10-14. Then, if that didn't find it, search for the exact value once you are drafted. If you ended up on a team you don't like, just save your cheat table, and alt-f4 out of the game. Reload your player from the showcase, enter the pick you want to be, and foul out. As long as you lock the value before the draft, you'll go where you want.

Please note that for draft picks, the cheat engine value is 1 less than the actual pick number. So #1 overall would be 0.

I think the ideal timing to lock the value is during the rookie showcase. Then you'll get the appropriate interviews for the pick you selected.

Now keep in mind that it's very likely that this won't work. You want to know why? Read through the thread.

I'm sorry.
BTW, is it okay to end the rookie showcase with a trainer or it must play throughout the game?

Thanks for the instruction. Address skill points I found quickly. But how to find the address of the trades, because there are only two values are ''on" and "off"? Nothing to hold on :( the effect of changing values are not immediately visible as the SP

Haha, no problem! This question just keeps getting asked over and over.

You can simply skip through the Rookie Showcase, that's not going to be a problem!

And that's the problem we're having this year. There are people experienced with these kinds of things, and last year they were able to give us the memory addresses because they were the same for everyone. Now they are different for everyone. I'm moderately experienced when it comes to this, and I've simply gotten lucky by being able to find some of the memory addresses using the process I explained earlier. I think this year it's simply a matter of luck...

To Anybody that is still having problems finding your Draft Position Address.

This is the way i found my address for the draft position for two different versions of NBA 2K14.

Save your game mid way through the 4th quarter of the rookie showcase.
Make sure you Back-Up that save.

After the rookie showcase the first interview will come up. If that interview is for the 17th pick than you would alt tab out and open up CE and type the value of 15 - 4 Bytes. Then open up another instance of CE and search for value of 16 and then another one of 17 and then 18. So you have like four or five CE's open. Once you finish the interviews and get drafted, Let say that you were drafted at the 18th pick. You would then close all the CE's you have open except for the one that you used to search for the value of 17. Once you do that just quit and load up the save that you backed up(Because Autosave Probably saved after the Draft). Then you play better(Or Worse) than you did the first time, Then you give the worst(Or Best) answers to the interview questions. Just make sure to get drafted at a different spot then the first time.
Then at the very instant you get drafted. well say the 12th pick, Then quickly alt tab and type in 11 for the value in the CE that you have open. That should narrow it down to ten or less addresses. Or if your lucky just a couple. Then load it up again and test it. I found mine after only the second try.
Just remember:

0 = 1st pick
1 = 2nd pick
2 = 3rd pick
And so on...

My Draft Pick address is: 1827D85C - 4 Bytes - Steam Version

Also lock in your draft choice during the Rookie showcase and Once you do get drafted unlock it immediately because that same address also determines your Minutes In Rotation After the Draft.

3000 = 12 Minutes

So for every 250 - 260 = 1 Minute

Therefore if you want 20 Minutes of Playing Time you would set the value to around 5000.

7750 = 30 Minutes

12500 = 48 Minutes (Entire Game)

Let me know how it goes.

Damn game developers :evil: what they've done there, that every now your address?
We can only hope for the trainers - maybe our Chinese craftsmen in the trainers to manage to put this feature.
For example - Draft. In Trainer by Aleczou a function when you get into any team, and are now suffering with this program does not need.

You can already switch to the team of your liking with Aleczou's training, and this doesn't cause any sort of problems whatsoever! That's what I do. Create my player, skip the Rookie Showcase, smoke some herb while going through the whole draft process and then once I'm drafted I load up the trainer and put myself on the team I want to be on. It's a lot easier than finding the draft position address!

Has anyone found the address for the shooting style(shot stick timing vs real player%) or the injuries/no injuries settings? I'm anticipating the "no injuries after the all-star break" bug is going to happen again, although i haven't made it that far in my career yet...

So far all the bugs I ran into on NBA 2K13 are gone! The bug you are talking about also seems to have been solved. Also, you can lock the shooting styles in place by using Aleczou's editor/trainer.

I mainly use it so that simulated games are played "appropriately", but some of them have a lot of effect when you play as well. Dunk tendency, touches, draw and commit fouls, crash tendency etc, all will impact your playing experience.

How exactly did you go about finding the values for your MP's tendencies? I've yet to find a way to view my player's tendencies in-game.

Download the trainer by Aleczou (viewtopic.php?f=153&t=92987) and you'll be able to change pretty much anything you want! Translations have been posted in that thread, although I can't recall of player tendencies have been translated yet.

ahh, its good to hear those bugs are gone!
Only reason i was curious about the addresses was because i have had no luck in getting that particular trainer to start up properly

I finished a full season and I haven't encountered any of the annoying bugs from last year! So that's really good news!

The issue with this year is that (at least for me), the memory addresses are different. Heck, they are different for every other MC so it's pretty difficult to keep finding all the right ones. And I think the memory addresses keep changing for many others. I would love to use the Cheat Tables posted here, but they just don't work... Not sure how to fix your problem with the trainer. It can be so many things when the .exe stops working.

Alright, this is the last time I'm going to say this... The memory addresses are different for almost everyone this year! It's pretty much pointless to find memory addresses with the purpose of sharing it. Use Aleczou's trainer instead, that's the way to go this year.
