I had to re-prioritize. I'm starting a new business in a few weeks and editing didn't make the cut of the most important things I can do with my time.

I formed a "big 3" of most important things in my life. God, family, business, in that order. Unfortunately, editing didn't make the cut.

players in the retro rosters and draft classes are one year older than real age.(2k14)
For example, in draft class, Lebron's birth year is 1994. It should be 1995. 2k14 draft class is based on 2014year and Lebron is 2003 draft.(birth year+11)
in 2014 roster. Lebron's birth year is 1983. It should be 1984. (2k14 base season=2013-2014)

Hello there! Why does 2k crash when I try to switch teams in association mode using the 2018 Roster? Sure, I could try using all teams so I wouldn't have to worry, but I'm one biased man who wanted to lead the lakers to 100 straight championships.

Is the roster or better said, the project still running? Or its over?

Johnwest - I'd appreciate if Skoadam's mods not be talked about in this thread. I'm still pretty bitter and astounded at the fact that he used the name "URB" after the UBR was well established. It confused a lot of people (and I imagine still does to this day), and I'm not sure why he couldn't have come up with something more unique. It's pretty obvious why he used the name that he did. I've always viewed his work as a copycat effort. Back in the day, when he was in the infancy stages of his mods I even asked him to change the name because of the confusion. Unfortunately, not a whole a lot of respect there. So to answer your question, I simply don't know, nor care. If his cyberfaces and retro stuff have the same names for files in 2K14 then it's safe to assume he took short cuts and just took stuff from the UBR mod without asking (which I wouldn't be surprised by).

I know from a retro standpoint, the Ultimate Base Roster (UBR) is the most complete and accurate in terms of rosters, courts, jerseys, portraits, cyberfaces, and other art work. Current day gear updates, shoes, and minor stuff like that has never been something I've focused on. All I can guarantee you is that rosters will be 100% accurate as always, and in my opinion that's the most important thing. I don't have any of his stuff downloaded, and I won't be downloading it either. Sorry for the blunt response. This is the only time I'll be commenting on that subject in this thread or on the forums.

Im rly disappointed because im sure we clear mod name in pm's long time ago but it looks, you must back to this again just to lower URB quality, but hey remember one thing, since 5 years people already tested URB and know how GOOD it is.

You're a copycat too! You just collect the work of real modders and give no credit whatsoever, put them up together with some shitty stats/tendencies (supposedly magic formulas for "sim" gameplay) that actually make the gameplay like nba jam. Get the **** Out!

You're suffering from what scientists call Placebo Effect.

Gameplay is NOT the best, gameplay where both teams score 70% of the time in the paint and off drives is not sim.

Not really, not on PC at least. Medevenx is the most decent on PC, but it needs to be played with custom sliders to make inside scoring and drives more realistic.

i agree dee4three... i love this rosters gameplay by the way. Its not perfect but still the best in my opinion

anybody know how to change this in the games settings or did I just install the wrong courts? Every single NBA court looks low definition?

issue is on your side somewhere, because all courts in urb are high resolution ones.

Use high details set. All courts in whole project were made in high definition technique.

I was playing last night and i was shocked when i saw there are no logo behind World and USA team in select team screen or when reviewing roster. Do you have the same problem? Now its ok.

not sure about that (i'll check it out when i get back home) but i noticed that in one of the special rosters atlanta hawks have some college team logo (in 2k13 mod, just to make it clear).




p.s. i still hope for answer to my question in 2k13 thread

anybody here using the v2 sliders ?? I realy love them in general..just one issue. I play on all star mode and feel on defense that sometimes my defenders are almost on "skates" and when taking a small step to the left or right u cant move back the other way in time to defend. This results in quite many open drives to the rim by the opponent... u guys know what slider i could adjust to fix that ? Wish the slider conversation would be more alive because the gameplay is what makes this roster so good!

We are still open on sliders conversation. Problem is, users must be patient. You cant check slider after one game. URB Sliders will work only with this mod and its only solid base to find good personal slider. All details can be probably be fixed by sliders but we must remember about two things. First, gameplay can be broken and problem cant be fixed because its hard coded. Second, all users are different and sometimes things which are correct for one, wont be for other.
Im not sure about too many open drives, anyone with the same issue? Current bball is 3s and drives.
