i bought the advanced file types license, but nothing changed. still can't open anymore else then .ros files

It would be better, if you write me to REDitor@ya.ru, so we will solve the issue asap.

Vl@d Zola Jr., Maybe i'm too early, but i asked about is, as players could play all star games with their teams jerseys?

No, this is not possible. We had a discussion several pages ago.

=============================
A new Demo version (2.2) is up now. The full version 2.2 will be released within the next 24 hours.

Vlad I watched the tutorial on adding filters and I still cant really wrap my head around it would you have access to a simple filter out the new 2k14 tabs to only show the tabs that 2k13 has in common I want to transfer my franchise from 2k13 to 2k14 without messing anything up by coping and pasting

if so can you shoot me a email? jjgildner27@yahoo.com

thx, Man

RED Modding Center v. 2.2

New in v. 2.2:
- Added: Skills Boosts - a new editable tab of NBA 2K14 files
- Added: Skills Boost field at Players tab of NBA 2K14 files, which links a set of boosts to each player

So with this we can get rid of the annoying arrows in new official rosters now?

This can be implemented, but since it is not in the original design, it will require some work to build a special version, and will be a crotch-like solution anyway, so it is a no go. I'll think of adjusting CSV, so it will import according to column headers, maybe this will help. But not the top thing on the to-do list anyway.

in the future, will there be a possibility that we can assign custom colors to the players' shoes?

No. :( Once Rondo is GOD pointed me to the Color Mode value, i was digging around it back and forth, but found only what is in v. 2.2 . Basically, those bytes, which stored colors in earlier games, are now occupied with those ShoeModel values, and the colors are nowhere in the file, so they are completely gone.

So with this we can get rid of the annoying arrows in new official rosters now?

Yep, there are 2 ways now:
1) The correct one: open Skill Boosts and replace everything, except ASA IDs, with zeroes.
2) The free one: open Players tab, go to Skills section. The first column is Overall, and the second one stores links to Skill Boosts. You can set those links to something, which already stores zeroes. But there are no guarantees in this case, that Asso, Career and other modes will work correctly.

what about In-Game Text Editor ? its available to buy for 2k14 pc?

No. Once a big support of IFF files is ready, the text editor will be in there.

Sure thing.
Here is the link: http://reditor.red-mods.com/setup_REDitorII_v4.7.exe
You can e-mail me to REDitor@ya.ru, so we will restore your license.

Is there any possibility in DC editing to edit what range the player will be picked in the draft ?

Nope. This is evaluated by the game on the fly according to some formulas (player skills, team needs, etc.).

I'm not sure what you are saying here Vlad for the free one "You can set those links to something, which already stores zeroes". Set those links to something like what? Can you be more specific please? I already spent $30 on the editor, my wife won't give me a dollar to remove the arrow. She tells me I'm crazy to pay to remove an arrow. LOL woman, I tell you they just don't understand.

I was looking at Meds roster, which has no arrows, and his links are the same as 2k default roster. I'm wondering if I'm looking in the right section...

This "Free" way does not work, the game reads the ASA ID from skill boosts anyway, so you can't get rid of this if you don't edit the skills boost tab... So I sent you some more money now :)

Vl@d Zola Jr., at least the draft class editor should be free, we spent hours an hours to edit draft class's and we have to buy something that should be free. Don't get me wrong but it doesn't make sense pay for something that I will use to edit draft class's and share them for free...

sry bro but this kind of thinking is just stupid. Modding is free, Vlad made tool for modding. See the difference?

zkritt is right. You should go to Players tab and change SklBst to something like 2000 and also edit ASA ID (to an unused value, i believe). But this is definitely not the best solution, since ASA ID is responsible for a lot of things like Audio Stories, Awards assignation, Box Scores stats, etc.
So, would be better to ask your wife for a dollar and a half (those ~40 cents are PayPal fees) or use a roster, which is already arrow-free. :D

Yes, thanks for the attentiveness and for your purchase. I'll send a key in a couple of hours, once i get to my home PC.

If this will make sense for you, RED MC is fully developed with RAD Studio XE3 Pro edition. In case you're interested, the amount, it costs, can be easily googled. Sorry, mate, but i don't want to get back to this topic any more. Players tab of Roster files is free, other things are not free. If paying for DC editing doesn't look good to you, you can always edit them in-game or with any free Hex editor; but to be honest, i don't think $2 should be a problem, if you got the game for $20-25.

boom1324, it is good, that you contacted me here, because for some reason my e-mails couldn't get delivered to your address. I wrote you a PM here. Hopefully we will be able to solve the issue asap.

Re: [Tool] RED Modding Center (Current v. 2.2)

I'm having two issues with my rosters.

The Pelicans and Pistons have jersey numbers on the shorts. There are no jersey numbers on the shorts for any other teams, and there aren't any numbers on shorts in the base I used (November 2). Last time, the Raptors and Rockets had this issue. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong and this time I'm really clueless. Could it be that there is another parameter in the jerseys tab that affects this?

Second, I'm having trouble with Power Forwards spotting up on the 3 PT Line. I've changed my playbooks to the default playbooks. I've set their 3 PT rating to 25, tendency to 0, post up to 100, what else could I be missing? Come to think of it, both these bugs happened when I DL'd the newest update for RED MC.

Can be true. There are still some unrevealed parameters on Jerseys tab. Please, drop me your roster file and tell IDs of jerseys, which have numbers on shorts. I'll check.

Doubtful, that saving with the new version could cause something like that. Might be worth checking PlayInitiator and Coach Profiles as well. Also to mention, several people report, that some plays are broken, so they shouldn't be used in your playbooks, although they are there in the official updates.

Confirm. Thank you for noticing that! Will be fixed in the next version.
For now you can place an order in "This PC" mode, then send me an e-mail with Computer ID of the remote PC. I will adjust everything manually.

Vlad, as you know I just bought the draft class portion of red-mc recently, but I had a couple questions I hope you could elaborate on if you can.

First off, I noticed there exists a column "Overall (Internal)" and a lot of those ratings don't match up with the draftee's overall ratings in the game. Now that I look at it, it seems as though the rating being given under "Overall (Internal)" is the rating of the draftees before I edited them. My question is if that rating doesn't match the rating in the game, could that affect draft positioning in the draft? Is there any significance to these integers?

Next is the columns "Peak Age Start" and "Peak Age End". Here it seems you can set the age where a player will be at his best and how long he will be at his best. I was wondering if this has any bearing on how a player progresses. If he is destined to be great (high potential) and you set his "peak age start" close to the current age, would he progress to his full potential more quickly?

I may have to do my own experimenting in order to figure these out, but I'm very grateful for the chance to be able to play around with these modifiers. Thank you for making this program! :D

Is it possible to buy REDitor using amazon.com credit? I wanted to buy the team tab ($3) and the Names tab ($1), but I'll give you $5 amazon as I had some amazon credit hanging around and I wasn't gonna use the credit anyways.
