Re: #JAWS // D-League Roster Beta Released!

Tue Jul 21, 2015 12:09 pm

Yes but when I release I'll be packing all the junk you need into some folders. Some UBR files WILL be overwritten; This is because I believe I found/created a superior version to what the UBR was using. The only stuff that is 100% UBR/Big-Shot-Rob are the rookie CFs, stats, schedules, and portraits (portraits are up for grabs, I may or may not take the time to do the Med route and photoshop heads and necks onto white t-shirts). The logos/uniforms (only some) were created by byronray14 and TSoGood's D-League stuff. Most CFs were things II created, tendencies and ratings as well, with the exception of Emmanuel Mudiay's, Stanley Johnson's, and Myles Turner's.

So quick questions- When cloning players after creating a team, does anybody else have names of currently existing players being replaced? For example, cloned Devondrick Walker to the Austin Spurs and I thinnk everyone named Derrick had their name changed (Devondrick Rose, for example).
One more. How do you roll the year forward so the game recognizes that it's 2015?

Well, I fixed all my problems. Just a few things I figured I'd showcase to show this mod's still going.
First, made a shoe recipe- Adreian Payne's KX1 Anti Gravity. Weird shoe but I'm personally into it.
I've also slowly begun to incorporate rookies into the roster- have been updating day by day. The most recent I've added is Bryce Dejean-Jones, former Iowa State/UNLV standout. Will take screenies later..

On a personal note, I met CJ McCollum recently.

Re: #JAWS // Not Dead Yet

So guys, still making progress. My only stumbling block- Association crashes when using teams. My gut feeling says that it's because of either logos (don't have a big, small, medium versions) or because of the team types- all but one are currently team type 0. BUT, regardless this is moving forward. I finished the Austin Spurs, the Erie Bayhawks, and the Reno Bighorns are only missing David Stockton. Currently working on the Texas Legends & Maine Red Claws. Would really adore some help CF wise, I'm scrambling over here balancing both the roster/coaches/player ratings & tendencies. Would adore some CFs of the following- maybe one of the NCAA guys wouldn't mind helping out.
Omar Reed, Red Claw.

Michael Schachter.

Ralph Sampson. I see perhaps a young Boozer on maybe Quincy Miller's headshape?

For Association, you must use the original 30 GIDs in the first 30 slots in the Teams tab and only those teams can be set to NBA Team, which I believe is Team Type 0. I can say with pretty good crrtainty it has nothing to do with logo files. It's almost always roster related.

Got it. Would you like to play with my roster Big? I can PM it to you and you can feel free to drag some feedback.

Right now the only playing I get is testing NCAA stuff unfortunately.

#JAWS // More Previews

So quick little update gents. Some Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Texas Legends glory shots.
My thinking is just run a few seasons in association, see if I need to tweak anything- tendencies, etc, then release a six (I thnk six, lol) team V1.

EDIT: Just played the Fort Wayne Mad Ants against the Texas Legends.. It was so much fun.
Fort Wayne was up big early until John Jenkins exploded late in the third. At the half, he was 3-11 roughly, with only 9 points. But then he heated up and led the Legends to victory.

So once again: I edited the scale/position of hair in Blender, and after exportation, the edits are gone. The hair is present, but it's in the default position in which it was imported to Blender. Any suggestions for how to fix?

Were you in "Edit Mode" when trying to export?

Re: #JAWS // More Previews

Yeah but I'll try one more time.
EDIT: It changes everything but the hair. I messed with the eyes and mouth and those changes were enforced.

Which version of Blender are you using?

Re: #JAWS // More Previews

2.49
EDIT: I tried using 2.69 and still same problem.

So I have an interesting update for you guys.
I have someone making CBA jerseys- the Shanghai Sharks and Beijiing Ducks. I'm going to add them into the roster as a little unique piece.
EDIT: John Henson retweeted me!

So I get a "range check error" when cloning in REDMC. Any suggestions?

You've expanded the roster file past capacity and need to clear space.

Re: #JAWS // More Previews

Sun Sep 06, 2015 6:00 pm

What would you suggest clearing?

Re: #JAWS // More Previews

Mon Sep 07, 2015 6:08 am

I think you would actually need a full license of REDMC to delete the necessary cells, plus it depends on if your roster uses MyCareer, etc.

Re: #JAWS // More Previews

Mon Sep 07, 2015 6:41 am

Nah doubt I'll include MC.
Maybe I'll just replace the original "classic" teams.

Re: #JAWS // More Previews

Mon Sep 07, 2015 1:01 pm

So I've done someething rather special.
I've added in two CBA teams- the Shanghai Sharks and the Beijing Ducks. But they're composed of all NBA playeers who have played for said team- Starbury and Randolph Morris on Beijiing, Von Wafer/Gilbert Arenas/Delonte West/Michael Beasley on Shanghai.
Credits to IAmSamkee for jerseys.

Triple post time. Dandy.
Simple update I've made to JaVale McGee, based off his literal days as a Philadelphia 76er.

Anybody know how to export as a P8 file type in GIMP? Creating some really dank jerseys but I can't change the letter/number color.

What I do is import/export as png. It should work fine when importing in 3DM Tool.
