I appreciate the "constructive criticism" and will respond by telling you that you don't have to download any of the content I put out. And that is very big talk coming from someone who to my knowledge has contributed virtually nothing to this board and spends the bulk of their time taking other people's work.

Sorry but, It is necessary to recognize when faces are good made and when they are not it...

Your faces are really strange! The first it's look like Drummond, so no interest, and the second is look like the monster in Space Jam!

So... Look the faces of pierralban or Bamz... and you can see the difference! Inspire you of their work! Pierralban has do a tuto. Look: viewtopic.php?f=149&t=88515

Sorry to be honest!

A lot of that comes down to style. What you don't understand, being that you've never made a cyberface in your life and again just sit here taking other's work, is that Pierral, while his faces are excellent, does not put in as many significant changes to the CFs. He does not edit the 3d headshapes at all for most, and if he does the alterations are minor (such as a change of hairstyle.) You need to understand that he does this because he needs to be able to churn out as many CFs as possible in a short amount of time to make full draft classes. Where he does most of his changes is with the actual face texture, which is made by combining multiple players. It is the reverse for me. I focus more on changing the 3d headshape than the player's face texture because it makes the CFs look distinct and it's harder to tell who they originate from. With 0 disrespect to Pierral's work, anyone with a good eye can quickly determine what player model he used for the CFs even with the changed face texture.

It comes down to a difference in style. And if you don't appreciate my work that's fine, but I'm really not going to let one critic in a thread that's so far been filled with praise deter me. And again, if you think you can do any better than please do it. But of course, you don't have the first clue on how to make CFs and you just sit here mooching other's work and then trying to criticize them.

A problem that I'll be posting in here as long as a separate thread. This is the only thing that has prevented me from releasing the CFs and as soon as I can fix it they'll all be up for download.

Take a close look at this picture and focus on the mouth. Notice the "hole" in the open mouth that allows you to see through to his jersey? How do I get rid of that? I've played around in blender and adjusted the size and position of the inside of the mouth/teeth/tongue but to no avail. Any more experienced CF creators with incite would be appreciated.

The only way I can think of is too make the teeth closer to the inner mouth.

Just play around with the inner mouth. That hole is cause by having your inner mouth too small relative to the mouth itself. If that doesn't fix it, you might have to move some of the vertices around.

As for the faces, I think they're a little bit too animated, they're a good start, but making the parts less exaggerated should help. ie: Dennard's nose, Georgios's mouth, Claude's jaw/chin, Nate's head (plus make sure to match the head's color to the arms), Danny and Andre are the types of faces you should go for, but Andre's nose is a bit too bent at the tip, and Danny could still use some work. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the advice and I'll give it a try when I get back. And also I appreciate the constructive criticism greatly! I definitely agree on Georgio's mouth and mouths in general have been a big issue for me and I'm learning to improve as the days go. This has definitely been a learning process for me and at the start I think I tried to play around a lot and really test the limits of what I could do in Blender which has led to some animated looking faces. A lot of what I've uploaded are some of my oldest works (Danny York being my first) and I think you'll find a lot of the newer stuff does have a little more "humanity" to it. But again, I do appreciate any constructive criticism. (Y)

1 - I made CF, but just for me, because, I takes more time to made it and I have something else to do in my life that to make cyberfaces.
2 - Your not an artist man! Be cool. If you think your work it's better than Bamz or pierralban, or more hard, ok! It's not problem... but your faces are dirty and do not really!
3 - Sorry but... I prefer the quality to the quantity... So, take your time but made more quality faces! It's just for you. You spend your time.... When I see the views, I see 23472 for pierralban, 42896 for Bamz and... 2043 for you... You create your topic 2 months after Bamz... and look the difference. They made more realistic face and they has successful.

So, excuse me to trying to make a constructive criticism so that you improve... (N)
On it, good luck small modeller...

1.) Do us all a favor and post the cyberface you've made in private up on here for us to judge. I'll be waiting, and until then, kindly be quiet. But of course now you're going to provide me with excuses on why you can't upload it or talk about how you have "better things to do than make CFs all day" when ironically enough you've been in my thread since last night.

2.) I appreciate criticism but you've offered absolutely nothing of value to the table but are talking like you're in such a position to be such a harsh critic. If you want to criticize, tell me what to improve. Insulting my skills or works and then telling me not to upload really does nothing, and frankly makes you look unintelligent for being incapable of contributing anything with more depth. Furthermore, using view count as a way to judge quality of work is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard, in truth. Those 2 probably have more views than me because I only recently started posting here and haven't even reached 20 posts yet, while they're long time reputable members who everyone knows about and looks forward to seeing post, and also because almost all their work is immediately available for download while I have not offered a link yet.

I'm not going to respond to you any further unless you provide a picture of your own work, since you're such an expert.

No, you'r not suport the critic... but I stopped speaking with people who make no sense of the judgment and the good taste... :applaud:

Just disregard the troll, he is not worth your time.
It's a nice project and you have done a fine job of making the characters distinct.
Perhaps Giroud (if French perhaps go with "Giraude"?) could use some fine tuning as he seems a bit "cartoony" or less detailed when compared against his colleagues, but a strong effort all around.
