what is the directors cut overlay in instant replay?

I would like if you remove all the logos in cut scenes...the file is gooeyoverlaystatic.iff

I could remove all the stuff from that file, just post screenshots what is not necessary

I want to remove all the logos...when you make a foul ( for example) and cut the scene, appears the 2k logo. Now, this logo and the action replay logo are strange...because if you modify or delete the 2klogo texture on gooeyoverlaystatic....there is a very bad screen and I donno how to delete this

Its not instantreplay.iff, you can remove that file and the game still loads it. I think it is in the global.iff unfortunately, I have not been able to locate it despite going through all these different files.

Its not instantreplay.iff, you can remove that file and the game still loads it. I think it is in the global.iff unfortunately, I have not been able to locate it despite going through all these different files.

Removing is not a problem, a problem is to know which file. Now too busy with other mods to explore all possible combinations but I believe it is not in instantreplay.iff.
It will be in one of the files who has "C" blue button texture installed

Normally everything (texture and 3d objects "mask, backround or whatever) goes in one place when looking with hex editor.
Will remove as soon as will have time

You do not need to delete anywthing.
Once you import your own dds file it will overwrite previous with TV3 logo.

P.s. this thread is not to increase your texture editing skills.
I am sure there are enough tutorials at NLSC tutorials section for NBA 2K12, 2K13, 2K14.

This thread does not cover how to create correct 128x128 DXT5 dds file and import it to the game.
Thread is only about how to move watermark and resize it on the screen
