I was able to edit SP points and attributes using cheat engine and the cheat table for 2k14, if that's what you were referring to.

Do we have a tutorial for that in here? One that is detailed. I'm not very good with the tools.

Try to edit created player , than write cf id in both columns click on left second save and on the right second right save , then click save player and check it if it works

In the trainer push the read button in the middle top column and put in the CF ID and Portrait ID you want to use
(Also you must select the body type/ Skin tone option for CF to change from generic CF)
Push Save button in trainer
Save player in game
Next time you view this player it will show the new CF

-create a player like you normally would. assign him to whatever team or free agents doesn't matter.
-then go to wherever he is assigned and chose edit player
-alt-tab out to desktop and open trainer
-follow the steps listed in this thread and save
-go back into game. YOUR PLAYER WILL NOT HAVE CHANGED YET.
-you need to exit edit player then select yopur created player and edit option.
-YOUR PLAYER SHOULD NOW HAVE YOUR CREATED CYBERFACE
-if not you did a step wrong.

As far as creating a cyberface it's not just putting a photo somewhere really.
You need to use 2kxx mod tool or 3dm mod tool to open a png cyberface file modify it with paint.net(free) or photoshop and then put it back in the installed directory.
There are plenty of tutorials on the internet just google creating a cyberface nba 2k13 or check the tutorial section forum on this site.

How do we find out what the CF ID and Portrait ID numbers are? And how do we upload the pic for us to use in the trainer?

After Downloading, Uncompress file
Once you uncompress and install Trainer just
1. Open the game
2. Open the Trainer ( in that order)
3. Then choose a player and go to edit player screen
4. Start using the trainer.
5. When finished editing trainer push save button ( as shown above) in the trainer
6. Go back in game and save player. Now the player, created player, or MyPlayer should have changes made
