i have a pretty good idea:
could anyone make a ncaa tourny court and final four court for EVERY team in the game so in association once we get to the playoffs we can just throw the court file in our folder (for the respective teams playing ofcourse) and be able to play the association playoffs with actual tourny and final four courts??? and then when were not playing the tourny we can just go into a backup folder and throw in the normal courts again! i would do this but i literally have zero programming skills

You can do that now. Just use the tourney court and keep renaming it to the home teams in your franchise that make the playoffs, same with the FF4 court when you get to that part. I already am doing this in my season playoffs. Use the JSGME and put the renamed courts in there and you will have the game played on the tourney court instead of the home team court. When finished you can switch back to the regular home courts again.

You don't have to program anything, just have to take the time to rename the tourney court to your playoff teams court. If you really want, you could make renamed courts of all the teams in the mod or your assoc and you would get what you are looking for in your post. Tourney courts for all the teams for your game.

PS - I'm going to look into the crowd issues. It's going to end up with me changing the teamxxx.iff files to match the new GIDs. If someone wants to grab an older version of the roster, and post which old GIDs need to be changed into which new GIDs, that'd be amazing, and save me a ton of time (i.e. if Tennessee has a wrong crowd now, tell me their old GID and their new GID, so I can convert the crowd file)

big, I was trying to do this for you. how do I get to the GIDs. I tried using the 2k13 roster editor with no luck. If you need the red edit program to do it, I don't have that, sorry.

Directions for Manual Installation: (Manual Installation Tutorial Video [Start 1:45])
1 - Download 'March Madness 2K14 LITE Part 1', 'LITE Part 2', and 'LITE Part 3' **. (Note: EVERYONE Must Do This!)
2 - Unzip the files. Insert all contents (the individual files, no folders) into your Main NBA 2K14 Directory *.
3 - Download 'March Madness 2K14 LITE Part 4 v9'. (NOTE: Once you've downloaded Part 1, 2 & 3, you ONLY need to download Part 4 for EACH update)
4 - Unzip the file. Insert all contents (the individual files, no folders) into your Main NBA 2K14 Directory *.
5 - Download 'March Madness 2K14 Roster & Settings v9'.
6 - Unzip the file. Choose the proper folder for the Version of the game you are Installing (Lite or Full).
7 - Place the contents of the folder you chose into your appdata/Saves folder ***.
8 - If you wish to Overwrite some of your NBA files, and play the Full version of the release, download 'March Madness 2K14 FULL v9'. (Note: You MUST Download this with EACH Update)
9 - Unzip the file. Inset all contents into your Main NBA 2K14 Directory *.
10 - Boot NBA 2K14. Load Roster and Settings.
11 - Crush Life.

* For Steam users, this directory is typically: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NBA2K14, for DVD Version: C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Sports\NBA 2k14
** Once you Download 'Lite Part 1' and 'Lite Part 2', you NEVER need to Download them again. You will ONLY need to Download 'Lite Part 3' for each and every update that follows.
*** This is usually the pathway: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K14\Saves

mcoll86, if you experience a crash in custom season/association, try and give as many details as possible about who you are, who you replace, when it happens exactly, who you're facing, who your next opponent is, etc.

The only audio files that are a part of this mod is the soundtrack made by agolden. That is what makes up the crowd chants, band music, etc. In briefly looking at the files he has changed, it does not appear that there is any interference, so my presumption is that his SFX mod should work seamlessly with March Madness 2K14.

The Arkansas retro team that is now in v8 & v9, is that the same Ark team you were talking about before about adding to the mod along with Albany ?

Or, is that one of the teams from the retro mod and there was also a current Arkansas team that you were planning to add in before you got the new retro teams ?

It's a different team. The Retro Arkansas team is from RayHoops' 1995 College Hoops mod. I was intending on adding the current Arkansas team, but at the moment no longer am. Glad the crowds are working now.

As a greedy request, I would love for people to post pictures of their games. I love to see some of the awesome stuff you guys can come up with, especially after the next release where you can mimic some of the match ups we've seen in the tournament thus far.

Interesting. This is the absolute first I've ever heard of post-exhibition crashing. I'll look into it.
