Bigh0rt,

Have you tried making a whole new roster file with Albany not as part of the default 30 teams ? I don't mean in-game assoc etc, I mean replacing Albany with one of the 11 additional teams not in the default 30. it appears from a lot of the posts that something with Albany is triggering crashes when they are replaced in-game. They already have the logo issue I posted a few pages back that may or may not be a problem, but they are the only team with that logo situation .

If you released a roster file with Albany removed from the default 30 and just listed as an extra team, then we could test to see if making a custom assoc still crashes. if it does not, then at least something about Albany, logos, dornas, etc could be looked at as the issue.

I am not able to edit the roster on my own, or I would have done it to try my suggestion to try and help resolve the issue instead of posting it here.
Just a thought to try and help.

I will help test this out, and I'm all for a roster without having to have Albany as one of the 30

Hey guys just wanna give you props for your great work. Finally upgraded my pc and got your mod running well.

Quick things I did notice for Iowa Hawkeyes

Aaron White has black hair in game where he really is light skinned red head. And he starts at 3. I don't expect people to look
perfect but itd be nice if just the hair color and skin tone could be adjusted.

Mel Basabe is starting in the game as a SF when he really plays PF.


Ratings can be tough to get accurate with this many players. But Iowa's bench player in the game is rated the highest on team. Marble is easily the best player on the team then maybe White>Gessel>Wood>Basabe>Olaseni>Uthoff>Oglesby. But ratings can be changed easily so not a big deal.

Gotta say I havent touched NBA2K14 for PC since I got it for PS4. I thought id check out NLSC after my hiatus. Stumbled into here and was intrigued. Downloaded and installed and absolute top notch work guys. Its nice to have a college basketball game again.

Agreed, this mod is the only reason I bought 2K14 for PC.

It is spectacular, soon as we iron out the season crash issue, it will be the best college ball game ever created

Just crashed to desktop after completing second game in season using imaveragejoe's roster. Custom league, Albany left in.

Yea, it looks like the original 30 teams will be a limit. I'm quite fine with it, to be honest.

iknow in the orignal files you can put any of the real teams, and swap any of throws with class, would trey putting teams into the classsopt intest after the thirty and see if that does any good. ior has it been tried?

Based on my own testing, and what I've seen posted by everybody else, it appears so, yes.

Just a little status update, guys...

The next 2014 team in will be Kansas State. After that I have 2 team slots I'm currently comfortable putting current teams in. I'm unsure which teams will make the cut, at the moment.

I'm also, as I noted at the top of this page (I think) working on adding some Classic Teams into the mix. The first team in there are the 2000-2001 National Champion Duke Blue Devils. I fixed the crashing problem(s) I had when I first attempted to add them, and so far so good.

Beyond that, I am going to try and add the special courts that Im1AverageJoe has been creating. It is my understanding, that you can't simply add courts to the database, and that a court needs an assigned team to prevent crashing, and that simply creating a dummy team and hiding them also won't cut it. So, my first attempt to rectify this is going to be a) assign the 2000-2001 Duke Blue Devils to the regular Cameron Indoor Stadium that the 2014 Duke Blue Devils play at (I did this, and had no crashing issues in Play Now with the Classic Duke Team). b) take the court that was originally assigned to the 2000-2001 Duke team (Celtics Arena, I believe it was) and overwrite that with Im1AverageJoe's stadium/arena/floor/etc. As long as the Retro team has a current team in-game already, and we don't mind having them play on the current floor, I can try this out. We'll see how it goes.

All that said, I'm feeling pretty under the weather, and do not anticipate getting things done this week at the rate I have over the past few months. I'm also planning on attending a soccer conference from Thursday through Sunday, so I'll be away (and really don't want to feel the way I currently do while I'm there).

So, that's where we're currently at.

I'm not using a ENB...Only using MM2k14 global with max out settings...

Pics may look a lil pixelated because of window mode + I use Gimp to capture pics

Reporting a crash in 29gm season...I made it to my 10th GM then after autosave it crashed..I was wrong (Years Pro) does not fix the crashing issue... :cry: :cry: :cry:

Guess I jus take a lil break from pc 2k14 and play my Xbox1 season till we can figure the issues out...
