Just want to send out a thank you, again, to everyone who has downloaded this mod. We've now eclipsed the 2,000 DL mark since v1 was first released, and we're over 3,300 including the Demos. So glad so many people are enjoying it.

And of course, a major, massive, tremendous thank you to every person who has contributed to the project. Truly amazing. Looks like we are hopefully getting closer to figuring out the Season/Association issue, and with any luck, that will soon be an issue of the past as well. Thanks a lot, guys!

Using newest version game crashed after game 4 in season...

All I changed was settings to "all star" from Pro as I just got done beating Kansas by 35....

Was working fine till that point, don't think change in settings caused the crash.

Anyone who would like to test, put the default for all of the following files into your main folder... see if Season crashes... If it doesn't, start adding them 1 by 1 to see if it crashes. Make a log of what file(s) you add after each trial.

That's probably way overkill, but rather be safe than sorry. See if it crashes when all of those files are their defaults. Try inserting like 3 of the files at a time, and try and see if a crash happens. If it doesn't, we know those files are fine. If it does, we can say that it's possibly one of those files. The logos you can dump all at once, and see if it's those. Otherwise stick with just a few so we can try and narrow it down.

I don't believe it's anything related to the roster at this point, if normal NBA rosters are crashing at the same exact spot(s).

question, I downloaded the game from Stream and looked through the files and don't see the AppData folder, is it hidden?? the only file i see is userdata. I've done steps 1-3 so far and just waiting on the Ros and Settings file. Great Job on this work Guys . Hopefully I'll see the results soon. Btw i'm new to the forum today.

Been doing some cyber faces and noticed that some have already been done, that I didn't know about.

Marcus Paige and Tokoto from UNC have already been done ( I can tell by the blending on the .dds)

We should produce a list so they don't get redone.

Bigh0rt posted this roster earlier I believe it's been narrowed down to 30 teams....I'm in the process of doing some test my self, I'll post my results later...I have loaded a default NBA roster, 3rd GM in Season 1 min qts....All MM2k14 files are still inserted besides dornas....Dornas cause all NBA teams to crash even quick GM.... That's why they are in the full version not lite...

bigh0rt, After doing some tests and observing some other ROSTERS in RedMC, I had noticed one thing different from your ROSTER then all other ROSTERS... The "Years Pro" for all players are set to 0..In order for the game to load up correctly in Season/Association mode, it must be able to accumulate stats for rookie's,sophomore,ect.. i have adjusted all "YEARS PRO" to MM2K14 v4.1 Ros. from 1-4, leaving absolutely no 0's...
It has worked flawlessly ever since i made the change.... By the way all MM2K14 modded files are included as well as my dornas and global...

Guys test this roster out and please report any crashing...I've yet to see a crash and been playing custom Association all night and made it to my 6th gm...

Im1averageJoe, thank you for your testing and work. If this works out, I will make sure that it is fixed in the update. What I'll probably do is just edit the Years Pro based on birthdays, and have 1995 players with 1, 1994 with 2, 1993 with 3, and everyone 1992 or earlier with 4. Check your PMs.

that helps no about palyer years, but acouple uf that testest includine me, testeste with nba roster using thisthe files for this mod and still crash. that maybe y part of it, but it doesnt explain what file is crashing atthe point in seanson ass i tested reported last. differtn roster, means its onetof the gernal filesof the mod.

Try the roster that Im1AverageJoe posted with all of the MM2K14 files installed, and see if you stop having crash issues, as he did.

ok. tits workingat this point with joe roster. i havet tried custiom yet, but defuatl setup for assocations seems to be ok.

This is more or less what it would be, with some exceptions. Just a lot easier to sort in RED MC by birth date than to re-look up every player's current year.

So is it working or is it crashing at playoffs?

will the first test riached the playoff with no crashes and using the default 30 teams. the thislast test sim into afew games, statred a game, played it partly, but when it went to save associations it grashed, the differance throw is a longhorns to albadly exchange.
the issue that porping up, even throw setting it for the cup not to allow trades, it keeps asking me to trade in both test. dont if that's impacting it or not

Please keep testing different things, guys, and reporting back. I am hoping that this Years Pro thing is the only issue and that I can make an easy fix and be on our way. If it's just the 30 original teams, I can even live with that at this point. So please test with the 30 default teams, and report any crashing, and then test custom season/association, and let me know of any issues you run into there.
