If you are going to use gamez animation patch use this roster to get the animation

One suggestion for you is paying attention to the ratings of some teams like Heat, Jazz and Wizards. In Heat,Dragic is just 72 and Wade just has 78. In Jazz Trey Burke just have 60s. In Wizards Bradely Beal just has 74.I think his excellent performance in the playoffs is worth 82 IMO.

It is important, everyone, that we bare in mind that overall ratings are mostly superficial. it's based off of a formula for each position that the 2k creators devised, assigning certain traits higher priority over others. some players may have lower overall ratings but put to practice are actually better players ingame. ginobilli is a great example. overall of just mid 70s in most rosters, but still one of the best players on the spurs if you play ingame. Kevin, along with his beta testers (myself included), has been trying to get each individual rating to be as accurate to the stat lines as possible, with some lenience for stuff that doesnt show up in the box score, so that playing as them looks as much like the real deal as possible, meaning some people will have an overall higher or lower than what we would assume is this case, but it's generated by the game's formula, and the goal of this roster is to get them to play like what their overall should be, not have that exact overall yet play completely different. i have to agree that trey burke being in the 60s might be an indicator that his ratings could need some adjustment, but saying things such as "bradley beal is a 74, worth an 82" or "dwade just a 78?" or "westbrook is a 96 and curry is a 92. shouldnt they be the other way around?" isn't really going to accomplish much. unless its a drastic difference in perceived overall, dont bother pointing out stuff like this. a much more helpful observation would be "durant shot 40% from 3 but his 3pt is rated 60?" or "davis lead the league in blocks but his blocks arent even in the 90s." i know, i too am guilty of lending too much to the "all powerful" overall rating at times, but i thought i'd go ahead and point this out for all future discussion on this thread. remember, this roster is all about realism in game not perceived notions on paper by a formula we know nothing about nor have any proof of its accuracy. in fact, i would say players like ginobili and parsons are proof of its inaccuracy.

we plan on having it mycareer playable for 2015-16 season by the time the draft is over. and association mode will be already updated when the roster itself is updated after the draft.

Great! Thanks man!

This is not uncommon. Happens with March Madness, too. Don't know why, but people tend to download the rosters multiple times. Don't sweat it.

Ok then. Let's hope I don't get emails or PMs saying they "don't have the rookie heads"

vlad emailed me telling me he thought he sent me the key and to let hime know if i dont have it so he can resend it. i checked both spam folders; nothing. so i emailed him back and told him the address to send it to and have since gotten no response in almost a day. this is so frustrating. you dont even know. right now i can only hope to have it by draft time so i can do this for you.

if all works out your roster will be the first one to have 2015-16 mycareer. and im pretty sure it'll be the only reputable roster to ever have updated the mycareer properly.

Great man! Is it possible to update the records of every team?

Re: Kevin's Realistic Roster| Beta v2.0 Released + No more adf.ly links!

Another job well done for V2, its definitely an improvement over the last beta (Playbooks finally!!!!), but I'd like to point out some minor things:
  • The free agents are still bothering me for some reason...so is Maurice Evans (71) just as good as Marion (71) and MKG (71)? And Dalambert (72) is better than the three of those guys?
  • I fail to see MCW (69) being less talented than Bayless (70), refer to their stats.
  • I'm pretty sure J.J. Barea can shoot free throws so why is it at 25?
  • Aminu has the highest defensive shares (or something like that) for the Mavs. Just wanted to say that in relation to his current DefAwareness (53) rating. Sorry, I'm very critical when it comes to the ratings of Mavs players XD I bet I should do their ratings for the next update
  • Still waiting for the team colors and coaching movements
  • Increase Parsons and Deandre Jordan's potential, they're most likely going to reach their prime soon.
  • Is J.R. Smith really 84 rating material (95 midrange O_o)? I don't think he is just as good as Conley and Parker and is no way better than Jimmy Butler (82). By doing a comparison in stats and PER, and eye-tests, we can conclude that J.R. may be good and effective offensively, but not great, at least when compared with the other guys I mentioned.
  • Caboclo (68) is actually terrible, he barely cracked the rotation and even has a negative PER. Cut his rating down.
  • Rotations haven't been done correctly. The same can be said with player roles (Why are Speights and Louis Williams Starters when they are clearly the 6th Men of their teams?)(And why is Terrence Ross a Bench Warmer? He plays 25.5 min per game)(And oh yeah Devin Harris is the Mavs' 6th Man, not Stoudemire)
  • Vucevic averages 19 points and 11 rebounds a game, increase his rebounding and shooting tendency
  • I actually laughed at Bargnani's rating (63) because it might be true XD But then again, referring to stats he's actually a good shooter (36% which is above average with 4 3PT attempts per game) and he can obviously shoot free throws (81% as opposed to the 53 he currently has), overall he's a decent offensive player who can be a threat from outside. So he's just terrible at everything else XD. On a side note: Does he really shoot post hooks at a high rate? In here his Post Hook is 99.
  • A minor tendency adjustment: Meyers Leonard, he attempts 2 3PT shots per game, but his tendecy for 3PT in here is 0. Please readjust.
  • Increase the midrange ratings of CP3 and Anthony Davis. Refer to these: http://www.businessinsider.com.au/antho ... ats-2015-4 and http://grantland.com/the-triangle/monst ... ow-jumper/

Again, sorry for being critical, I know GritterandGrinder discussed about the critique for the ratings, but I assume these ratings based on stats. I'm basically a stats guy since I don't have access for the NBA on cable here in Australia (Cable TV here is flooded with AFL, Cricket and other sports I don't enjoy) so I always look up box scores, B/R, ESPN, and Basketball-Reference for updates. So bear with me on my constant nitpicking please XD

Side note: Don't get me wrong, I actually like the rating systems on this roster better than most rosters (Most especially UBR, they don't seem to be taking Overall ratings and Potential ratings very seriously).

my problem isnt with stats in general. i feel like thats the MOST important thing in this roster. im just saying that we dont know what weight they attribute to each stat to come up with overall rating and we have evidence that the overall rating doesnt have very much baring on how good they are ingame. attributing real-life stats to this roster to come up with ratings is what i personally feel should be taken most seriously of all things, but just cause the stupid formula they put in the game doesnt pop out an overall rating that we agree with doesnt mean their ratings need to be changed.

kevin's in charge though and he may see it differently, i just felt like it should be said that overall ratings dont really mean much to how good they actually are, because i feel like their formula is inaccurate. how would you even come up with such a thing? how would you decide how important a specific stat is to a position? especially with stuff like vertical vs 3pt vs blocks
