so you cant just put ie uXXX.iff tnto the mods folder they have to pt them into a sub folder, of mods?

Yep, when you click on the mods folder it should have subfolders in it not files so what ever files you want you have to create a folder for those files then move the whole folder to the mods folder, for instance if you wanted to do this mod you would create a folder and name it March Madness (Or whatever name you choose) and put all those files into the march madness folder then move the march madness folder to the mods folder.

im not sure but i think i have it working now. never tried this type modifier before so its a bit odd to t me understand what im doing. ty for the assistance

bigh0rt, you know what bro, to answer your question on the logo's I have no idea how I got mines to work. All I did was addIin the logo.cdf file which I'm pretty that's what you did. Also 2k12 logo files are compatible with 2k14 so I dragged and dropped so really I'm using my 2k12 logo files and edit from there and had no problems. Just to test grab my 95 logo files and input them into your mod and play a little association and see if it doesn't crash and if it doesn'tthen you might have to edit logo's again to get them organized.

Remove the JSGM Folder.. Take everything out of it and drop straight into the nba2k14 folder. so it should look like this
C:\Users\matt\Saved Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\NBA2K14\MODS\March maddness 2k14

If this is where you nba2k14 is installed.

Okay, so I made a very basic formula that translates % of game minutes from NCAA to NBA. applying it to all teams now (taking awhile). What it will do, though, is have all players play the correct % of the game as they would in an NCAA game, making Rotations as close to perfect as the game will allow.

Just reached a few more milstones... Next release will have FORTY Playable Teams (added Pitt, Cincinnati, Butler, Virginia, VCU, SMU). We're also now at over FIVE HUNDRED players! Each with an individual cyberface (the # of CAP faces we have, I can count on both hands). I'm just waiting on Butler's uniform, and whatever other files to tidy things up, and expect a release this weekend!!! v4 for 40 Teams!!

Try just removing the mods folder and moving March Madness 2k14 into the JSGME folder

Just saw a video exposing the truth behind this mod. For shame.

Here's what I have to say about it.

We are full speed ahead with what, as the initial post in this thread says, started out as a 5-team Demo and turned into the best, most accurate, most detailed college basketball mod in history. This has gone so far beyond its original intent, thanks to the amazing contributions of the community members of the NLSC. A true testament to the power of the people here. And not only this, but the other awesome big mods, like the Euroleague and UBR and Blacktop Revitalization. Continue to push the limit, everybody. You're amazing people.

Watcihng Syracuse vs. Pittsburgh right now. Pitt should be the next team in after Cincinnati!! I have tomorrow off from work and should get both teams in, with a v4 release looming very soon!!

AirAaron32, thanks for helping out with the JSGME questions. Really appreciate it. I've done some reading and watched some videos on it, but my game is completely overwritten, so I don't need to use it, and can't really troubleshoot with it.

Where do I get NCAA logos for the CBS scoreboard? The link only includes the scoreboard.

right now im about give up and see if i can find a cd copy of the game. that way the nonly the two woudl share is the saves folder and i do whati need to do. keep one as the nba and the other would be become college or us verusa

I installed JSGME in Program Files(x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/NBA2K14. The MODS folder should not be in a JSGME folder. Make sure that the JSGME APPLICATION and the MODS folder are in this place. Put all of the lite download stuff in the main directory and create a folder in mods (name it anything) to place all the full download stuff into. Finally, go to the JSGME APPLICATION and select your folder and put it in Activated Mods. Put the roster and settings files in your saves folder, a different location.

What do you mean? I'm confused. JSGME goes in the main directory along with the game application and all of the files that game with the game. The MODS folder is also in that directory.
