It's Christmas time, dear NBA 2K fans!

You've been so great all this year, and this wasn't left unnoticed.
Each of us at Visual Concepts really cares about you, the fans of NBA 2K franchise.
That's why I talked to our Vice-President, and he gave his perimssion to release one more version of RED MC.

Not much was added, but I fixed a memory leak and now every single feature of the tool is available for ABSOLUTELY FREE !
I also want to thank HAWK23, who helped me with testing.

When I try to open a roster file, this message appears.

I'm getting an error message from Mediafire (not Firefox or Chrome), that says,

"Dangerous File Blocked

The file you attempted to download was determined to be dangerous. For your protection, MediaFire does not enable distribution of dangerous files.

Still have questions, or think we've made a mistake? Please contact support for further assistance."

Anybody else getting this error message? Any help on a workaround?

Vl@d thanks for making RedMC in the first place and thanks for making it free now. Hopefully this will allow some new modders to produce content and maybe even some old modders. It's been the best money I could spend. I've made personal mods and helped on recent NCAA mods.

Im always little bit suspicious when i see 2k or any other company behind this kind of situation. Vlad can you please share with us any other information about this? 2k have some roster tool plans? custom rosters? btw. My system recognize v5.0 as.... spy software

There's probably something wrong with the roster file, if it was modified earlier.
Sorry about the ambigous error message. Didn't mean to keep the part about "proper license" there in 5.0.

Reuploaded it to a different hosting, please see the first message in the thread. It's strange how Mediafire let it be downloaded 380 times over several days, and then suddenly decided, that it is dangerous.

I'm not the right person to give any comments about company plans.
The release of RED MC 5.0 is my solo initiative, permitted by the company, as obviously I can't release anything like this without a permission. It's just a gesture of goodwill.
The tool is perfectly clean, ealier versions were also marked "suspicious" by some anti-virus software, that's because the executable has some anti-hacking protection.

Has anyone been able to download it? my cpu wont even let me open the downloaded file and deletes it before i can. Im trying to find a way to disable my windows defender but i cant find how to do so. I also already tried using the link on the 1st page of this post as well and that didnt work. Can anyone help or pm me the .exe file already opened?

Huge appreciation for releasing RedMC for free. I am very happy to see this finally happening, this will mean a lot to whole NBA 2K14 modding community. Now all modders and people who are willing to mod are not going to have problems with roster making them ultimately to stop their work. From now on, it's all on us, modders, to keep NBA 2K14 alive.

I never had the full license so seeing all the additional features and options is still very cool after 5 years.

Hi! I just joined here but I'm lurking for like forever lol, thanks for the RedMC however may I ask some questions? It's been bothering me for a while.

I tried adding the 98 Heat to the game and replaced the 98 Bulls. I didn't changed any numbers like the GID. I just changed team names, city names etc. For the players, I changed the first 6 players of the 98 Bulls to the 98 Heat lineup without changing the ASA ID. So here are my questions:

1. Why do everytime I load up the save, the accessories and ratings I changed in game reset? This is kinda weird to me, as I put the accessories in game to some players and it didn't reset. But for others it keeps on changing back to the default. Example I added pressure shorts to Kobe 98, load up the save in RedMC to make some changes to the roster, then load it up again to see the pressure shorts unequipped and the ratings revert back to default.

2. So far, aside from changing the name of the team, I only added 1 arena and 1 jersey via cloning. I cloned the default Heat court, then changed the stadium and floor. I cloned the retro away jersey for the heat and turned it into alternate. Does cloning affect anything?

3. What can I do so the changes I made won't reset? Even the rotations and situations reset also whenever I load up the save in RedMC, save and load it up in game.

XXXtentacool make your changes before loading up the game. Make sure you are saving all changes in red mc and back up your save file with red mc, then check in game.
