I have next gen, I can take some pics if you specify what camera angle.

The project looks interesting, let's just hope someone will bring to you good screens from new consoles...

Oh yes please
AirAaron32, Um I'm not exactly sure which camera angles though, if you could get 2 or three for each court that would be great. One as far up and looking as straight down as you can, one zoomed in looking at the middle of the court, and one zoomed in looking at the baseline area. If you could do that and send me the pics, that would be really helpful

PitViper, Thanks man

Definitely check out Scarface's Next-Gen style Miami Heat court. Might be good as a basis.

kahoona, just used your Anthony cf. Thanks to this.

Version 5.0 of Carmelo Anthony is much more real. It only failed the color of the ears was more clear that the texture of the face.
It is my opinion, do not get me wrong;). Do not have the previous version?
Sorry my English is very bad.

AirAaron32, Thanks for these screenshots bro. I just moved house and our internet hasnt been installed yet so I haven't been able to start working on these yet. I will start now however, thanks

If anyone knows how to get that blurry and bright white reflection effect on courts similar to the next gen courts, could you help me out with that? It might have something to do with LEDs or stadium .iff's.

about those blurry reflections you should ask jao or erixxx, they might know the answer or even better make a tutorial for it

blurry reflections are all on that reflection texture, i dont know what exactly "blurs" them or not, but 2K9 had good effects which is why I used it in my reflection courts this year (although I made the effect exaggerated).
Increasing those lights would be through the textures in the stadium.iff

I am not able to find stadium.iff file in my 2k14 or am I missing something?

I think he meant a generic "sxxx.iff" stadium file, not a "stadium.iff" file...

you can achieve it with the floor file aswell by doing your own bumpmap with much little noise on the red green channel. but if you wanna have those specific lightning yes you gonna need to work on the stadium & mb led aswell.
the only thing i expect from the next gen (nba 2k15) would be dynamic footprints but i guess this won't happen as the more it goes "next-gen" the less it looks realistic

I have a feeling 2k just used this year to showcase nextgen graphics. Look at NBA 2K6. You could say the sweat and lighting was far better than 2k13, but the player models and everything else were horrid.
Just Watch. 2K15 will look far more realistic than 2k14.

Ahhh, I finally have access to the Internet again and am therefore back to modding. The next gen courts project did not turn out so well and I may attempt it again at a later time, but as for now... Im back to work on cyberfaces

Aside from the chest tats which I screwed up on when making the texture (easy fix), I have spent a fair bit of time making a new Carmelo with a 3D beard. What do you guys think of this Melo with the 3D beard?
Mon Mar 31, 2014 7:57 pm
actually i was about to request a Nick Young cf Kahoona.. your quality is brilliant dude.
Mon Mar 31, 2014 7:57 pm
WOW ! Great Beard man:)
Mon Mar 31, 2014 8:33 pm
Fantastic!
Could you please do Rajon Rondo? I have yet to see a realistic face of him...
Tue Apr 01, 2014 12:35 pm
Love it!
Wed Apr 02, 2014 2:10 am
Brilliant!

Ended up with this just after I thought I couldn't make my Melo better. I like this one a lot. Am also working on a new Jason Kidd.
Thu Apr 03, 2014 1:18 pm
Thats looking real nice! Can't wait to see Kidd.
Thu Apr 03, 2014 1:31 pm
Wow, I'd say that Melo is perfect and ready for release.
