I think the first thing that needs to be done is for people to stop trying to compare the graphics; to next-gen, 2k11, or anything else. Using 2k11 as comparison for what the graphics should look like is not truly wise as the lighting for 2k11 was 3d based whereas 2k12 to present is 2d. Just take it as is, that's the only way it can be critiqued and improved. Creating a global that satisfies everyone's desires and suffices as acceptable or even close to perfect is tough and nearly impossible. Just respect that SJ is taking his time to do this and take it in stride with patience. Until the beta is released we won't truly be able to grasp the effect of what has been done with the global, as screens don't always do a global justice compared to seeing it in action. Saying that he needs to make it like 2k11 is not helping in any way. Keep up the great work SJ, can't wait to see how the beta looks first-hand, and any tweaks that I can make personally or suggest for you to make I'll be happy to help with

Like i said, i'm very respectful of sj's work.
i know that he did, and still does a lot for improving graphics of 2K games for us, on his own free time.

hopefully that the graphic system of 2k14 are similar to 2k11 so we can make the outcome just like that
but for what i heard 2k14 are in HD and the texture are crisp so lets see what happen once my pc is working

and somewhere, i hope it's still possible with sj !

It's definitely lookin good bro, took a bunch of screens for you, here's just a few with the crystal clear photomod. The shadowing and the skin texture is looking beautiful.






One thing I noticed for some skin tones/players is that they appear to take on somewhat of a reddish/orange tone in-game and it shows mainly in the head area more-so than the arms/legs. (You can somewhat see it in the LeBron and Dwight pic, and more emphasized in Durant below) I'm not sure if it's just me but I thought I'd point it out in case it was something that needed to be adjusted



Still checking out every skin type and body type, gonna do some more testing in the morning and report back to you with my results Great work so far man, can't wait to check it out with the updated textures.

coz if you are using a lebron with redish skin color the outcome is not good...

Yes, my icons disappeared too. If it was intentional, I like it. If SJ can keep it as an option that would be great.

So far I am liking this release. With my ENB it's looking a little orange but I'll tweak some SweetFX settings on top I think.

what i didn't like was the skin tones actually. some of the darker skin players look brownish-orange, some have too much of the orange, white players look pinkish. overall the darker skin players look kinda like clay figures. i'd like to see a default skin tone version with the shadow and shinny effects, would be interested in trying that.

Thanks for your work on the global, appreciate it. Here's my feedback:

There is a bug with your gamedata: When you tap LB or B a white box flashes the left side of your screen. All you should need to remove is the circle under player and the shooting range graphics under the player. Leave the icons when using LB or B. That may take care of the bug. I'm guessing it occurs because those icons where removed for those buttons.

I really like the no icon gamedata, please fix the bug if you can.

The back of player arms are too dark and shiny on some CF's.

My guys are a little red-toned, too. All of the black players have a reddish tint. Let me know what you find enb wise, please. Other than that, I'm totally loving this.
