From mine experience it could be just other way around, so you just need to rotate it right way (for this example, what goes inside is outside and other way around, I hope that you understood what I trx to say

). Also might wanna check that UV mapping for 0-0.
But as you said, also, it might be due to a global too, so not much can be done on CF.
