I'll be able to talk more about a potential project in the next week or two. Feel free to keep posting in here, but I have a little work left to do on Sko and I's 2k13 project and it will be complete. I'm going to focus on it to get it done.

If you are interested in being a part of a Facebook group for further discussion, please PM me your information.

What makes this mod “sim”? Here are a few of the features that set this project apart from all others:

- Every art file (jerseys, arenas, cyberfaces, accessories, courts, dornas (advertisement at half court), etc is realistic and none will crash game play
- There is no missing art file in the entire project

Every player in every roster has:
- Accurate statistical ratings and tendencies to work with 2k's simulation engine while still providing realistic game play
- Realistic ratings and tendencies that affect game play but not the simulation engine ie dribbling, athletic ratings, post tendencies, etc.
- Realistic physical attributes that decrease after major injuries or as the player gets older
- Accurate play types
- Accurate contracts

- Accurately updated Coaching profiles and playbooks

- Draft classes that have realistic player information for every player

- A few slider sets designed to be a base for realistic game play

anything else besides sleeved jerseys? :)

I haven't played 2K13 in some time, but from what I recall, the gameplay in 2K14 was substantially better than 2K13.

actually it isn't unfortunately.

the only differences i see ('cause i have 2k13 installed) are:

- dunk blocks;

- higher number of blocks per game;

- higher res tattoos;

- sleeved jerseys;

- more audio IDs;

- long range shots easier;

2K13 as far as I remember was a mess with animations. I used to jump into "contact dunks" animations when no defender was near. I still remember that animations were after you dunked on somebody you stepped over him regarding him. In 2k13 this animation happened and you were staring at nobody ahhaa.

I started converting some of my work from 2k13 to 2k14.

Here are results from two CPU vs. CPU games from the 2014 roster (both went into overtime)

Grizzlies vs. Warriors

Hey, guys. Just thought I'd let you know that I figured out how to convert the entire players tab from 2k13 to 2k14 in a little under 10 minutes.

Things might get interesting in the coming weeks.

Patiently waiting for something to turn out here.
We have some great modders in eveyr category and a collab is the thing that would make it perfect.
Can't wait to update my NBA 2K14 for the next season. (I assume you would have something really great by the end of septermber/start of november)

Hopefully THEUNTAMEDBEAST can get his Blender to work properly, he has very beautiful textures for alot of things.

Also I think you should contact Mythbuster to get Courts & Jerseys (He has really great ones)

Hopefully you will split the jobs on the roster with Medevenx & Kevin, that would be awesome. They both have good rosters, but both are missing a few details. It would be awesome if they "abandoned" their personal rosters and started working together on this one, so it could be as accurate as possible and get quick updates since not only 1 man working on the roster. (just a thought)

As far as global goes I am using THEUNTAMEDBEAST's Global 3.0 right now, and I love it. Even tho it needs some updates
totalrebound, THEUNTAMEDBEAST, Kevin should collab on the global and with all their experience they could really put together a global that would blow people's minds.

Too bad no one is working on scroeboards lately, they all have little bug's that could/should be fixed.

Also is anyone working on audio? Arena Music(real tracks that play at stadiums), Loading Screen music(TNT/ESPN intro)

Maybe a whole presentation of TNT or ESPN? Music, Scoreboards, Logos? (I know there are already, but they are still bugged a little and need a little work or just an update)

These are my few thought's or expectations for this project. Hope you agree with me and good luck with everything you have planned!

Also to point out comparing 2K13 to 2K14 is that 2K13 has MUCH more Audio ID's for legends (many went unused) when compared to 2K14. 2K14 scrapped a lot of unused legend audio from 2K13, but it did leave audio for Charles Barkley and Christian Laettner that still remains in audio code.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/40eep ... ID%27s.txt

The above link shows how much unused but official audio I have found in 2K13 (tested using the PS3 version of the game)
