I have decided to make a spreadsheet that allows you to calculate the chances of your created player making a certain university based off your top 5 stats.
Best paired with the HS Hoops mod (In season or playoff mode or MyCareer [Not sure if supported] and March Madness mod)
I have included just the teams in the March Madness mod as of now.
Current features include (All position based):
- Recommended Overall Rating calculator
- Star Rating Calculator
- Scholarship Checker
Future additions will include:
- Better formulas for the overall calculations
- More ratings
- Location Factor (I.e. star rating if from Canada, Proximity to University etc.)
- More teams
I need your opinion on the spreadsheet. Let me know if a university is too 'easy' or 'difficult' to join, or the overall ratings are too high or low for a certain position or all. If you have knowledge on formulas and would like to send some of your input to me, that'd be great.

I wish you could make a rating calculator for me based on the formula I'm using to speed this process up!

What formula are you talking about?

glad to see this. I will be posting my work as well later, I decided to focus on
the player's perceived value while still in highschool. My spreadsheet takes
height and position into consideration as well as stats....
Still working on it though

^Nice, can't wait to see it
Heres an example of a new column I added, to represent the people who score 40ppg against crap competition and 20 on high competition. I also changed the way the overall rating is calculated. I used Wiggins Sr Year stats as an example. The overall rating seems correct right now. Not uploaded yet.

Do you think Wiggins-type competition is Mid or High? I could change the algorithm to 'lower the standards' per se. Would High level be considered AAU type stats? Let me know.

I think the AAU competition is Mid, the game is not as strict as Highschool play is

Wow really surprised that there have not been more comments. I will try to upload a video with both spreadsheets
and also try to release my Spreadsheet.
I was planning on adding a GPA column to my spreadsheet. Also I wanted to breakdown the scholarships and show
how many Div I full scholarships and partial scholarships. The GPA could be used to show academic scholarships and
eligibility. This spreadsheet stuff is fun. In college i knew how to write basic programs but I wish I could remember now
I would love to create a program that uses both your recruiting data and my HS awards and ranking data. It would be
similar to leftos' stats tracker tool but Cooler and have a sleek user interface. I guess I'm dreaming right now.
Again I am very thankful for your spreadsheet.

. This almost reminds me of when Jaosming and Leftos were
brainstorming about a way to have storylines outside of the Game. This is sort of like that.

That spreadsheet is something else

, I'm intrigued by your ideas
I haven't been working on it lately because I'm too sick to think. I have some things from BaldyGotGame that I'm going to try and integrate as well.

TGsoGOOD, when will you release this amazing piece of work?

Today, my spreadsheet is being done in excel but you can also open it in Open office calc and it will work.
Also I am trying to finish Converting AirAraron's spreadsheet to excel for those that don't have open office.

Thanks and I used AirAraron's spreadsheet easily on Excel.

This is really awesome, as I'm viewing it. Haven't had the opportunity to try it out, as I've been spending all my time editing and testing, but it's very, very cool and I hope people use it.
