NBA LIVE 14 Project - Community Project?

Inspired by the NBA LIVE 14 and NBA ACTION 14 '08 PC projects, my modding team presents you the NBA LIVE 14 Mod Project for NBA 2k14 PC. Any other modders out there willing to help and wanting to join, send me a PM, we would love to have you in replicating to as far an extent NBA LIVE 14.

Restarting the mod almost from scratch, some of the work that has been previously used will not be used as I look to reorganise everything. If you would like to work on the mod, PM me as I look to hopefully get somewhere with this mod that has had a lot of time put into it. I hope to get a decent beta out ASAP

Here is a first concept idea of something I want the main screen to look like. It's photoshopped BTW. If anyone is able to do something like this if it is even possible I'd love them to message me. Also I know the MyCareer alerts etc. won't be possible but I would think the overall idea of the design is.

Stoecks court looks like the Live 14 ones. You could try those. Sixers85 is also recently using the stoeck court scratch method as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if you can tell us what .iff files need to be edited for the intro video and for the menu background art, as I have no idea where to start there.

I can help with the soundtrack. If I find all the songs, it should be ready by the end of this weekend.

tsiakalos13, Thanks alot man, appreciate it. I'm not sure if its possible but are able to change the titles of the songs ingame along with the actual audio the game plays? For instance, if the game was playing 'Kid Ink - Money And The Power' (Which I believe is in the LIVE 14's soundtrack) would you be able to make it say 'Kid Ink - Money And The Power' instead of it saying 'Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines' etc?

Spent a short time looking through .iff files to replace textures in order to add the NBA Live 14 Background Picture. I progressed a little and then got stuck on this. Does anyone know what I do from here? Any .iff files that control that blue background?

Dragicjecar, Thank you for that. All of these mods you linked have already been planned as part of the mod Just need to work out editing the menu background. Along with courts, logos, global etc.

the blue background and generally the fonts are mostly in the global oder the frontedsynch file!but I would bet that it is in the frontedsynch.iff but you would probably to hex edit that.
Also you could check the gooey files but they regulate mostly the ingame fonts.I already worked on the fonts a bit (for my self) but I'm not an expert at all!

nah, not possible. in-game text editing isnt supported by red mc for 2k14 until the iff editor comes out.

I've spent quite a while photoshopping this for the background of the menu. If anyone knows how to make this the menu's background or wants to play around with it, I completely invite you to try as this is not my area of expertise and I am having difficulty
