Custom Soundtrack Song Length?

I think I remember Jao talking about how with RED MC, it's possible to do music at any length you want by editing the text with the text edit license. Can anyone fill me in on this? Did I just imagine him saying that?

imagining. No way to change lengths, text editing was for song names in-game
