Anti-Virus Issue

Postby Bliss on Sun Jul 13, 2014 7:49 pm

Hey, I need someone who can help regarding Avast anti-virus. everytime I start to play 2k14 it always keep on detecting it then it automatically deletes the exe file in the 2k14 directory folder I also have the same issue using NBA2kxModTool which I can't open anymore. I know the best solution for this is to turn off my anti-virus everytime I play but are there any other solution?? I never encounter this issue before except this past week after reinstalling Avast. I really need help cause I can't continue my work in 3d model without using ModTool. tia :D

Avast works fine for me. I've added exceptions for both folders and files. The main reason I use Avast is because it can be easily turned off if you want to. My old PC needed to have anitvirus and firewalls turned off to play most games. Not having an antivirus program is dangerous. PM me if you still have trouble creating a new exception. Avast's menus can be confusing. Since Avast has frequent updates you need to know how to handle files sent to the virus chest and create exceptions. Suggestion, make a text file with directions so you don't have to remember the steps.
