Format/content of Saved Game file (.EXG)

Does anyone know the format of the content(s) of this file? I saved a game, but when I reload it, the wrong home team is identified on the loading screen, and the court and stadium shows as all black.

I'm thinking/hoping there is a way to fix this in the file.....
