How to get more assists and make alley-oops?

I give passes to open men but they never shoot. They end up passing it to someone else. I play for the Boston Celtics and for example, if I give a good pass to Wallace, he just passes it to someone else but when its Rondo making the passes, he even shoots 3s!

For the alley-oops, I'm using a PlayStation-like controller so I used the PS3 mapping but when I press the buttons for an alley-oop, nothing happens he just pulls up for a jumpshot.

I'm using the PC version and my SG has all his stats maxed out.

That happens most times, when you call for alley oops you will shoot the ball. Try and get someone drive the lane by calling pick and rolls, the only problem is that it mostly calls the pick and roll for PF's or C's but I have no idea how to get a SF to come and complete the pick and roll. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tip! I didn't need to do a P & R to get an alley-oop going turns out I just had to make sure I had a teammate running down with a clear path which happens often enough with me and the Rockets (got my player traded). I also got them to give me lobs which was a really cool thing

As for the assists, turns out all I needed was the Dimer skill. Tried it out with Harden and Brooks and so far I've raised my assists by a lot.

On the XBox 360 controller, you press B once and then hold the icon of the player you want to come set the screen. (For a SF you would hold the X button on the 360 controller.)
