QUESTION ABOUT ROSTER COPY & SNEAKERS

Thank you for reading this post. This is a 2 part question:
1. I tried the ROSTER COPY 1.0a tool, followed the directions. However, when I do the file I copied to is always corrupted. Any suggestions?
2. I came across dj yaz sneakers Dj_yaz's Sneaker HEAT textures viewtopic.php?f=153&t=94775&start=50, and every time I've downloaded it my game crashes. I've deleted the SHOEDAT file, but of course upon reboot the added shoes do not show. Any advice appreciated...
