nba2k14 on ps3

Hopefully I'm posting in the right section, it's been awhile.

Just bought 2k14 for PS3 a couple days ago.
All the game does is lock up and freeze the system constantly
Or it sits on "loading please wait..." endlessly.

I've read on other sites there's been lots of issues, but was under the impression it was fixed.
Any ideas? I've already contacted 2ksupport and gone through all their hidden tricks and fixed - none works.

Can anyone help a brotha out?
