Overwrite Online Data

Mon Feb 17, 2014 3:01 am

Is there anyway to overwrite the contents in the online data folder? Whenever i try to overwrite the bland All-Star jerseys, and courts or the terrible Deron WIlliams CF and launch the game it crashes at the loading screen. I've also tried the Generic Mod Enabler but that doesn't help. It still crashes. Any solutions?

Dammit, i did everything you said and it still crashes. When i delete the roster.iff and press reset roster it doesn't automatically create a latest folder. And when i manually create one and make a new downloads folder with just a roster.iff it crashes. I also tried the 2k14 Keep My Mod but i get a critical error message.

Had the same problem before and I got it sorted by uninstalling (remember to backup the mods if you got any) and then fresh installing 2k14, downloaded the official patches that Andrew posted, extracted the online data folder to a particular drive then copied roster.iff (required) and just the files I want and pasted it on the main 2k14 folder... I don't know if jerseys have the same problem, but the only drawback i got is that the names of the new added shoes doesn't appear on the selection, nonetheless they're selectable/editable... since then that's the way I update mine
