low FPS, good PC

Postby Juzzie on Tue Feb 04, 2014 2:04 pm

I usually get around 15-20 FPS when running NBA2k14

my specs are:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G620 2.60GHz
4.00GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5450
Windows 7 Home Edition 64bit

I run all settings on high with v-sync off

Unfortunately those frame rates are likely normal based on those specs, which are quite low compared to real gaming beasts that lazy pc ports require for silky smooth gameplay.

That is not a good PC, From a post i made in another thread.

PepsiWithCoke wrote:The CPU is crap, But not the main problem, The problem is the Walmart bargain bin GPU, It's both over 4 years old, And was already bottom of the barrel when you bought it.

This is what he has: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814130586

This is what you would need to max it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814121633

A good video on why you shouldn't buy the cheapest GPU you can: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sph6cjJeRdI

WOO PENTIUM 4 FTW:

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G620 @ 2.60 GHz 2.60 GHz
RAM: 4.00 GB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 610
System Type: Windows 7 Home Edition 64 bit

I get around 45 FPS with sweetfx, High settings and without AA and vsync.

What resolution are you playing 2K14 on? I play on 1920x1080
