Just a quick help please!

Sup guys! I've been hex editing the Nike ID shoe files and I got to add base, team 1 and team color 2 to the different parts of the shoes. The problem is that I try to create a KD VI in the Nike ID shoe section (not in my shoes section) and the shoe seems to be broken because it doesn't seem to save the colors you choose. I am the one who has this problem or is that shoe broken? I'd appreciate if someone can confirm it.
