Creating a Backup

I'm just new to 2K Sports. How do you create a backup of your saved game-mode (MyCareer)? Sorry if there's already a post or topic about this.

in game you can goto the save menu and choose a different name for it. or you can go to the folder with your saves - viewtopic.php?f=155&t=92760 - and copy/paste/move/rename to manually backup
Opinions are my own.

The easiest way is to simply save a second copy of it within the game. One thing to keep in mind, the game autosaves to the file you most recently manually saved to, so if you do create a second save as a backup, always save again to the first file again afterwards.

For example:

1. Save your MyCAREER under whatever name you want (eg MyCAREER with Bulls)
2. Save your MyCAREER again under another name (eg MyCAREER with Bulls 2)
3. Save your MyCAREER again to the first file (MyCAREER with Bulls), overwriting it.

You can then keep playing and any further progress will be automatically saved to the first file, preserving the second file as a backup. Repeat the process whenever you want to back up your MyCAREER file.
