2K hint in myplayer mode????

Gday,

Was just playing myplayer mode and had a conversation with the GM,
conversation went smoothly invited the GM and his wife over to the new house for a BBQ
then the conversation went roughly like this:

MyPlayer: "Yeah man come on over will play some NBA 2K14"
GM: "Of course man that game is great; hey you heard about the new-" Then cuts off immediately and brings me back to the heading to the arena screen.

Anyone else witness this? Was kinda freaky.

Anyway the point of this thread is to speculate that maybe something new is coming to NBA 2K14 or they might have some easter egg about the next 2K game.

I think anyone holding out any hope for that is in for a disappointment. I'm 99.9% certain that it's nothing more than a bit of humour, leaning on the fourth wall by referencing the game within the game itself.
