MYGM Head to Head

I wasn't able to play 2 player head to head in MyGM. Is it not possible to do so?

It is in Season Mode starting with Patch 3, but not MyGM.

What would be the reason for not having that option? It's one of the staples of franchise mode for me, build my team then play with it vs my bro.
