So i have this idea, not sure if its been thought of or not. But here it goes....

I was pretty bummed out about OA being stripped from the next gen version of 2k14. So bummed, i really lost interested and looked for Live to capitalize (lol i was dumb). It was until Live's release demo totally let me down, i decided 2K had to do.

Well Online leagues may only last one season, but being able to use custom rosters adds a totally new dimension. So the idea is, to have a "online Franchise" like league with manual progression each year. Since you can add a custom roster each season, this allows the commish to carry the previous transactions over from the previous league. Im not sure if you can edit a players age, but you can boost his rating or lower. Then there's the idea of manual rookie drafts and and FA signings.

This would take work, but a league should be work. Adds a totally increased level of appreciation. So there's a load of flexibility:



- Edited rosters reflecting previous season's transactions

- Manual draft and edited rosters with draft choices (no random weird prospects)

- User applied salary cap





Update, unfortunately you cant increase a players age. But you can add up or lower his rating to reflect age, or poor production.



Overall this would make leagues into a growing thing. But would take tons of time and dedication........
