Rebounding - Chamberlain Beast in Quick Play

I played a few quick play games both against the 71-72 Lakers and as the 71-72 Lakers. Wilt Chamberlain, whether on my team (I played locked as the PG) or against my team, grabbed every rebound in site. In 10 games (five as the Lakers and five against them with 95-96 Bulls), the Stilt averaged over 20 rebounds per game.

I ran five games CPU v CPU. Wilt averaged over 20 rebounds per game against the current Heat, current Bulls, 95-96 Bulls, one of the classic Philly teams (the one with AI) and the classic Lakers team with young Kobe.

I created a custom league, switching the 71-72 Lakers with the current Lakers. All the settings and sliders remained the same as they were for the quick play games. I played five games in the schedule, locked as PG (West), and simmed the first season three times.

In simmed games Wilt averaged under 10 rebounds per game. He achieved one 20 rebound game in three simmed seasons. BTW, Wilt averaged 18+ rebounds per game in 71-72.

In five played games, he had a high of 14 rebounds. Most games he grabbed fewer than 10 rebounds. In the quick play games he was grabbing rebounds like mad. He was hustling. He grabbed rebounds over opposing players. But in these association games he often stood there, not moving, while other players grabbed rebounds.

What is the issue?

He's going up against supreme modern talent, that's the issue. Either that or the game is so sim, that it gave him the response of an elderly man on the court, and he probably couldn't see the ball very well with his cataracts.
