Enabling Ambient Occlusion with AMD Video Card

Postby agolden on Sun Nov 17, 2013 5:30 am

Hey, so I use Catalyst Control Center to properly enabling Anti-Aliasing, but there is no options for stuff like SSAO, FXAA, Ambient Occlusion, etc. Is there a guide I can follow for enabling stuff like this for NBA 2K14, maybe using a program like RadeonPro or something like that? Thanks guys!

First, SSAO and Ambient Occlusion - same thigs :)

RadeonPro forced FXAA without problems, lot of guides you can find at http://community.radeonpro.info/
The situation with forcing AO through RP is a little trickier. Many hours I've been experimenting with values nearz, farz, flags and result the same - AO strong and works great in the stadium, crowd, but not enough shadows are being put on the players, no self shadowing yet. Hope someone find way to fix it (if it exists) :|

Guide for enabling AO you can find here: http://community.radeonpro.info/questio ... -radeonpro. Good luck :)
