Major delay in jump shot releases after using Trainer

I've been using the Fantasy Star Trainer to edit team colors and everything was working out until I started playing the game in which I noticed a HUGE delay in shot releases when using the shot stick or x button. I didn't touch the gameplay tab of the trainer only the team tab so I could change team colors. If anyone using trainer can help it'll be greatly appreciated; I tried reinstalling the game and deleting the trainer but the problem still exists
