Solid. That pretty much applies to all versions of the game of course. If nothing else, the number of Skill Points earned or required to upgrade your player/purchase extras should be fairer, so that the lack of Virtual Currency in the PC version doesn't mean as much grinding.

To be honest, that's a pretty useless feature. I'd place something like that way down on the list of priorities.

NBA 2K12's interface/menus weren't that much different from NBA 2K13. I'm guessing you're referring to the ones in NBA 2K10 and NBA 2K11, in which case I strongly disagree. I didn't care for those at all, they felt very clumsy to navigate with a gamepad.

There's no good reason for that, given Steam's popularity and stability. Unless 2K is going to have their digital distribution system like EA's Origin, they need to use an existing service.

when i start a new Association, the first thing i do is try to offload all of the bad contracts, which were quite often signed during the same off-season before the game. let me take over a team with 6 empty roster spots, the 7th pick in the draft and only the MLE...

it would work exactly like the current off-season mode, just before the current season.

Give back our "money contract", we love to have milions $ salary when we pretent to be a NBA superstar, you can make a change currency system easily. Nobody want to see: "Oh I'm MVP, I'm FA this summer, every teams get their ass moving around to give me a goddamn 2000 SP/VC a year"

A better physic system, take weight into account. I just quit my player after my 7ft2 300 lbs center get push out of bound by Calderon. No, just no.

Make us can see other team roster and players in FA, and make the option suggest team to sign a specific players in FA or aim for trading specific player in season (after trading around ss1, in ss2 my Rockets just have 1 SG in Harden and 5 C include me, and there's nothing I can do about it)

Let us do something with all those tweet, why we can only receive it, let us do something like make joke the other team to hype up game. And what happen with the following? I sweept the Laker in season, I crush them in playoff and still, no Kobe, no Howard, no Gasol, no Nash,... Oh, and get rid of those bullshit tweet, when I'm a 5ft10 guard like Nate, don't expect me to get reb every night.

Give us voice choice and expression pack. Not everyone talk like that and I don't want to see my player look like a monkey in a highlight dunk.

Give us the trophy, give us rings, give us the recognise we deserve when we win something. I don't want to work my behind off to win the MVP or the Finals just for some line in my player card. I want a nice sparkling trophy case so I can boast all day with my friend looking at them. I want to commentor say about me as MVP or current champion. I want the crowd cheer when I get the ball, expect me to do great thing...

More interview please, not just after game, make them before game, mid game, day off, off season,...

If you can, put personal life in there, nothing fancy like sim, just put it like Fifa Manager with simple GF, buying "picture of" car, house,... that's good enough (not heavy but kind of something to do along)

Let us participate in the draft, or trade, or sign with our influence (not everybody is Rose, many are Lebron and we want to recruit soilders)

Change the morale system in association, make players accept their role better, why any player with overall better than 75 want to be 6th man, or 80+ want to be starter or their morale will drop till death?

I'm guessing it's technically feasible. The offseason tasks are obviously a part of the mode already, so it would be pretty cool to start Association earlier on and go through an entire offseason to set up the first season.

As for why they don't do it, there are a few possible reasons. From a conceptual standpoint, Association begins in the current season with current season rosters, or at least rosters that were current as of the cutoff date during the offseason and featuring whichever players were under contract at the time and able to be included in the game. The game comes out as the offseason is wrapping up and training camp/the preseason is getting underway, so from the game's point of view the preceding offseason is over and done with.

From a technical standpoint, they've also got to undo player movement and clear contract information, which basically means the game needs to have a pre-offseason roster on hand that it can load. I would assume that's feasible, however it could also possibly mean that you can't use a custom roster in Association, since it needs to load the specific pre-offseason roster (which may or may not be editable).

Finally, the NBA may not be on board with the idea. They're obviously OK with having a fantasy draft option and virtual players being traded around in a simulation of what goes on in real life, but redoing the entire prior offseason in-depth - the Draft, contract negotiations and all - might be a step too far. I think the previous two reasons are more likely than this one, but the NBA has been known to be strict about this and that when it comes to the video games that use their license, so it's a possibility.

I wish in nba 2K14 is less bug. Because in nba 2K13 its to much bug yes? And in pc version 2k never put a patch, they just patch ps3 and xbox 360 and give back draft combine like 2k11 but more expansive. Its really great if 2k give that back

I've been enjoying NBA 2K13 on PC despite the bugs and the lack of an official patch, though having said that I'd certainly have liked to have received the patch as there were some bothersome bugs. I think we'd all like to see a game that's as bug-free as possible.

In all the PC versions of NBA 2Kx I liked the slam dunk contest in 2K9 the most. Must be something about the bigger player model of 2K9 that made it looked great for that type of highlight event, also looked good on replays.
I still remember unlocking all the dunk controls in the list and finding out which angle a particular dunk will give you a guaranteed 100 every time. Good times.

After hearing 2k's Euroleague announcement, I wanna something like that for my career: different starting points...

a) You might be start a player from Euroleague and play some games in Euroleague before draft... And in our career we should be known a player like Manu, Parker, Gary Neal or any other Euroleague comer player: better fundementals and playmaking...

b) You might be a college player/star and play some college games before draft... In our career we should be mix of fundemental and variety skills... Like Carmelo, Durant...etc.

c) You might be a underdog player who starts from draft combine and play some games before draft... In our career we stay away from media attention and try to be a star from underdog status... (I've no example for this... )

d) You might be a streetball star and play some pickup games against Nba stars on street games before draft... In our career, we might be a player like Iverson, Starbury: selfish, ballhogger and having some problems about our disipline...

It'ld be awesome, wouldn't it??

They certainly won't be using Origin, that's EA's system.

Not only that but both have offline modes, and online doesn't check for modified files so mods stay installed.
