great idea and easy to apply

Somebody did something similar but the NBA wants every seat filled.

-Because it's not just a "simple thing" that is easy to fix, lol. Realize that you're complaining about a virtual AI not acting 100% like a real life human 100% of the time.

hiteshom wrote:One other thing, it would be kinda cool to add it the fans leaving near or at halftime and at the end of the game if it's not a close game. But this real voices thing is really cool.

-Agreed, and agreed. You can see crowd members getting up to go to the bathroom and the snack guy walking around while you play in current gen versions of 2K so it seems like its doable in next gen. This, and TOWELS for the players are 2 non-essential additions that i think would greatly increase the immersion factor of the game.

I gotta say I was immediately blown away but seeing that they are recorded from broadcasts like Live's coach's timeout speeches, they're pretty generic and will get old quickly.

i think will definitely get old quickly specially if you play alot and also one thing i noticed coaches always have their hands behind their backs and players have their hands on their waist

NVM: just saw a vid where d-rose had his arms crossed

unless it is randomly generated speech or they have a billion recordings, it will always get repetitive. it's just a cool feature that adds to the broadcast experience i guess. people have been asking for that stuff, i dont think it adds much to the game. i'd much more prefer just a graphic broadcast integration, like having a full tnt styled broadcast/menus/commentators. that's much more appealing for me than halftime interviews or pregame fans doing stuff, etc.

cmon guys we have no right to criticize 2k for this nice addon in presentation area. We(players) always get bored with something but we cant criticize because of their good will. 600 unique comments, cmon its enough and i will watch every comments when i will be in playoffs or finals, no matter how long i will be playing. Its just nice. I dont understand problem with arms position while interview. Cmon, players almost always keep their hands on their waist, natural position after 24 minutes of running, jumping, defending etc- but at the end its unfair against 2k to have problem with this.

The concept is that these interviews help immerse players in the game by making it seem more real.

The reality is that these interviews destroy immersion, because the interviews are full of generic statements, and when we play the game the interviews will often not match the situation.

i agree with skoadam. gotta give them props for the effort of putting it in the game. disagreeing that it was worth the time and effort for such a feature is also valid.

Highly probably that generated and created players won't be interviewed.
I guess this awesome feature only applies to quick game, NBA Today, and Season mode, none for MyCareer or MyGM when you play a game.

I'm going with false. MyCAREER supposedly has voice acting on par with GTA. No reason they would add this feature, and have all that off-court voice acting, and not add the ability for MC players at the very least do this.
Opinions are my own.

I just come here to make my best comment. Then I'll watch some film and improve from there.

Generic statements? These are athletes, half the time their comments could relate to any game at any time.

Very cool, next-genny feature. Only complaint was I barely recognized Mike Woodson, but i dont care cause he still luuked pretty.
