NBA 2K14 digital release

Hello everyone!
Recently bought an Xbox 360 E, but in my country with the supply disks is usually delayed. I would like to buy directly from Xbox Live. What is the probability of NBA 2K14 to digitally in store GoD on release day? What is the experience of past years?
This year, thought to buy NHL 14 - so it (release Sept. 10) Xbox Live has not delivered ... Would it not be so with the NBA?

It also serves to discuss the release dates on PSN, and Steam, and Amazon digital PC version.

0%, Xbox 360 isn't having any Day 1 Digital releases.

So, is the Steam version confirmed? I know Amazon is selling an online activation code for Steam, and even though this has been the case in the past few versions, I don't like the idea of buying a product from a reseller when the publisher hasn't confirmed it'll be released. I've searched and I can't find any official info on a PC digital release other than Amazon.
By the way, Amazon says the product it's only available to US customers, anyone outside has been able to order?

I know Andrew, but what guarantee do we have from 2K about date or even availability on Steam? Yes, Amazon is a trustworthy site but 2K on PC is not, they have a history of screwing us.
You're from Australia, did you have any trouble pre-ordering?

This close to release Amazon is usually pretty trustworthy especially for a midnight release.

As for the US customer thing, just put in a US address, like your favorite NBA teams arenas' address. The Steam key they send you won't care, it's just how Amazon has to divide up their own site for legal purposes.

I already preorder 2K14 on Amazon, same as last year. I'm not sure about the release date, last year on Amazon it have the same date as the physical release, but a week before that day it was delayed to a couple of weeks later. Hopefully, that's not happening again and we will have an steam working version on Oct 1st.

I pre-ordered the disc version elsewhere, so I can't comment on any issues buying digitally from Amazon.

there hasnt been any official word about the PC version period. Only non-information with MyTEAM/Crew and release date

There are plenty of unknown Steam apps but it's not common for a popular game to stay in the dark so close to it's release.

The 2K basketball games have never shown up early from memory. It's usually at ~1pm EST when Steam does it's daily update that it shows up and is available for purchase/download.

I ordered the DD version on Amazon and they had a $5.00 off promotion for a final price of $24.99 The rep said it would be available for d/ld at 12:00 AM Oct 1st. Just wondering if the DD version is better to have than the actual disc version as far as patches and upgrades are concerned?

DD is the same as Disc, just a different delivery

I tried tracking down a disk version locally just in case but it seems I can't get any confirmation of them being available in my local area on Oct 1. I guess I'll keep that Digital pre-order from Amazon.

Last year I think I finally got a disk copy the Thursday afternoon after launch.
