New GPU Worse Framerates in 2K14

I recently upgraded my GPU from a Radeon HD 6770 to GTX Geforce 760 superclocked and I am actually getting lower frame rates than I was before. I'm getting like 45 fps with maxed out settings and vram on. There's obviously something wrong. Maybe the drivers? I uninstalled the old AMD drivers through the control panel then I manually deleted the leftovers. Here goes my specs:
CPU Intel I7 2600 @ 3.4 mhz
8 gigs of RAM
PSU: 650 watt cooler master
2 TB HDD

did you install nvidia drivers

Yeah of course. As of this moment this GPU is going back and I'm ready to bid PC gaming farewell in favor of ps4. This whole ordeal has been such a pain in the ass.
