(How to?) Use an actual NBA player for My Career?

Hi, how can i use (james harden for example) a player as a my career character.
Without having duplicate james harden though? And i mean be the actual james harden.


I tried using those alec trainers, and a different 2k trainer, but they won't work.

If anyone knows how, can you please walk me through?

Btw im using a legit Steam version of the game.

Use the same method but this time, right click Harden, change to MC, after that, go to your player's name then assign him to a diff team/ free-agent.

Yessir, im currently running it on original steam. no mods. Some cyberface/global mods.

I am currently using alby's roster, and playing my career rookie showcase (im re-doing the MC instructions).

And by the way, per your instructions:

1. Go on MC main Screen.
2. Minimize, go to Alec trainer (lebron logo)
3. Search for James Harden.
4. Right click James Harden, click MC- Change to this player.
5. Search "Jay Ron" (my old player). Assign him to some random team, or delete him? How can I not make him exist? lol
6. Maximize game?

How can I make sure the changes apply? I've tried up to step number 4 before, multiple times, but I wouldn't see changes at all.

Hey man. Can you tell me If im doing it right?

This time im gonna try to be Jeremy Lin, Houston Rockets

1. New Mycareer named Jay Ron. Play through showcase. Got Drafted by 76ers.
2. From main MyCareer Screen ,minimized the game.
3. Ran Alec trainer. Went to lebron logo.
4. Searched Jeremy Lin. Right clicked his name, and clicked MC change to this player.
5. maximized the game, hit back, save manually, quit.

No changes.... actually it broke the game. Any tips?
