Adding an edited player from old roster to a new roster

I am a newbie and have been playing the NCAA 2k14 mod which is awesome. Is it possible to copy a player from a previous saves file to a newer one? If so, how? What is happening is I've done a lot of editing to several players and they are on a older saves roster (ex: Roster v8) and when the newer v9 came out, it added several teams and needs to be my default roster however I don't want to have to re-edit the players again if possible. Sorry for the ignorance? Thanks
