Talk about NBA 2K14 here.

I just bought the game via steam and excited to play however the framerate that i have to endure with make me felling dizzy and want to puke.
My PC: CPU AMD PhenomIIx6 1055T, VGA GTX 560 ,RAM 8GB.
I can play Bioshock infinite all setting set to the highest with no problem. i have tried to adjust this and that in video setting but i still got framerate run around 30 fps (testing with in game benchmark). Turning floor reflection and depth of field on and off/crowd and texture set to high or low doesn't seem to improve my framerate at all.
Anyone please tell me why?

For some reason player quality is what kills my fps. I was getting a choppy 30-35 before I turned that to low. Now I can have everything else high and it runs great. I can't really notice a difference in the player models either. Maybe try that if you haven't yet.

The models itself are the same. The only difference is, that the Jerseys move when you have player details on high.

You have a PC that should have no problem handling 2K14 at max settings. Maybe your antivirus is scanning the game in the background? That could be the issue.

When I have 'Sideline Characters' enabled it tanks the framerate. Once I turned it off, it was smooth.
