about logos

Hi guys, first of all i want to say, i know how to edit logos working with mod tool and gimp, but i found logo in the internet and i want to crop that logo before add to the game, but i don't know how to properly crop logos (how to do that) with gimp or photoshop? Maybe someone knew how to do this or there is a tutorial for this or something?

plenty of tutorials on how to use GIMP or photoshop on the Internet and YouTube alike. I'm sure if you try searching you will find one.
