HELP!! game won't play

I have a problem. I have the DD version of NBA2K14 from Amazon. I noticed in my directory, I have 2 folders. One is program files(X86) and the other is program files (X86) steam. There are files in both folders, so I transferred the files from (X86) steam to the program files (X86) folder. I loaded the game, and saw a different title page with UBR ultimate roster instead of the default Lebron startup which I didn't have originally, as well as the music. I want it back as it was. Then I start to play and it kicks me back to the steam startup page. My question is are there suppose to be 2 folders for the game files? I thought I was doing the right thing by combining them to one folder. I re-installed the game, and it works, but everything went back to the default settings when the game came out. the mods I had in the game are gone, but it did save my roster files, UBR files, association and settings. So I tried to re- install courts, CF's, jerseys etc... but they don't show up in the game now. Everything was good until I combined folders. Would appreciate any help.

Well....I re-installed the game and there are still 2 folders, program files (X86) and program files (X86) steam. The files that are in program files (X86) steam are jersey files, CF files, logo files and files that begin with f ex..( f076.iff) The other folder has the NBA.exe file and the main files that run the game, which is the main directory I presume. I was going to move the files from the steam folder to the main one, but that's where my trouble started before.

Not being sarcastic, but obviously I didn't.

you might want to think about doing so if the game works after re install, so you dont have to waste 5 hrs downloading the game.
